We had a wonderful four day weekend stay at this lovely home in Brewster. The house was very clean and well appointed. There was everything we needed to cook some delicious dinners in the kitchen, the deck was lovely, and the beds were comfortable! The location was perfect for everything "Brewster" that we wanted to do! Thank you for a lovely stay!
A family of five and grandparents stayed super comfortably during ChristmasHoliday, with family dog. Convenient to all mid Cape attractions. Lots of space, and outdoor area to stay or walk around in.
The house was clean and as described the management company was easy to work with, and were happy and fast and responding to requests for an early check-in and late check out.
The house was very nice and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked. It was centrally located to all that the Cape has to offer. The rental company, Del Mar Vacations, was very responsive. I highly recommend this place and am looking forward to coming back.
The home was so welcoming - roomy, yet cozy, spotless, with all the needed amenities with a fabulous deck and beautiful lake view - and direct access. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
This home was in a great location, very close to the beaches in Brewster as well as the Rail Trail, restaurants, etc. We easily explored from Yarmouth to Harwich to Orleans and Chatham with this as a home base. The home was good for what our family needed - the space is airy and comfortable with great art and everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The dock and boats were great to have on the pond!Overall we liked the space, it was clean, and it's worth the affordable price!A few things worth knowing:- The basement bedroom is a little awkward - it's a pretty raw unfinished basement with the bedroom all the way across a walk through the cold concrete floor. The room itself is nice once you get there, but it feels tacked on and isolated, and there's no bathroom down there.- The house could use some upkeep overall - miniblinds missing parts and slats, some loose baseboard trim, a toilet that runs and a missing kitchen light.
This was an adorable house hidden away in a quiet, secluded neighborhood, which is exactly what we wanted. It sat on the adorable pond where after a day at oyster fest we were able to go kayak to relax. Always love renting from Delmar. They do such a great job and their homes are always meticulously clean.
Clean, bright, comfortable. Beautiful, quiet, just see the woods and pond out the back - great chance to be in nature. Great to have the space downstairs for our older child to have a bit more space. Loved our stay. Kitchen well equipped. We and the kids loved using the kayaks. Thanks for having the life jackets there! We hope to get to return. It was peaceful and fun.
There were many positives about the house: the open living/dining area, the cleanliness, the large deck and well stocked kitchen. It is in a quiet neighborhood near many attractions.
I would say that this is really a three bedroom house, only for two couples and an extra bedroom with twin beds for kids. These three bedrooms and living space are all on one floor of the ranch. The fourth bedroom is in a dank unfinished basement with a very strong moldy smell. The washer dryer are down there so we did use it but didn’t want to stick around.
Secondly, the trees and shrubs are so overgrown you cannot even see the pond. We thought we had picked a waterfront house with a view! Despite the disappointment of that, we had a lovely time. The grill was wonderful and we enjoyed lovely meals out on the deck.
The house was very clean and living area bright and cheery. The deck was perfect with a nice view of the pond. And the neighborhood was quiet. The one thing a renter should be previously made aware of is the fact that in order to get to the downstairs bedroom, you have to walk through the basement first which was a bit unsettling. Other than that we were very pleased.
The location was excellent in a nice quiet and shaded neighborhood. The property was great with the access to the pond. The house was very nice, especially the open living area and kitchen.
Wonderful, comfortable and homey getaway. We enjoyed two nights here with our family who needed some R & R and the pond was just as soothing as the other reviewers mentioned. Two kayaks were left for our use--bonus!! Five minutes away, we rented bikes in Brewster at the Bike & Kayak rental place which was very affordable and biked to lunch in Orleans with a beautiful stopover at the tidal flats of Crosby Landing. We also saw the herring run at the old grist milll which was walking distance from the property...a delightful spring experience. Finally, we enjoyed the nearby Cape Cod Museum of Natural History which was great for our animal/fish loving kids. It was just as listed. What a refreshing escape!
