A beautiful red kite decided to give us a soaring display one evening :) The cottage is very close to the main A75 so it can be noisy while you're out in the garden. On the plus side, the location gives good travel access to all areas of D&G by bus and by car. Don't miss Threave Gardens - free motorised scooter available for people with mobility problems that would restrict their access to the gardens. "
