"When the breakfast area was busy there were never quite enough tables prepared to keep up with demand. The buffet quickly ran out of items which were not replaced efficiently and without asking. On quieter days the buffet breakfast was well managed."

"Loved the large room I had and the king bed was so comfortable I slept well. There is an elevator but also stairs so lugging baggage is challenging. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! "

" Very pleasant owners. Staff also. Unique in its appearance, rooms clean and warm very old building but well looked after, excellent for a central holiday in Aberdeenshire and Angus, very central to Perth, Dundee, and Aberdeen. A nice walk to the Tay, and your also on the edge of the Cairngorms."

"Lots of parking , good WiFi and quiet . Lovely location but just needs a bit more attention . I was the only customer and the cleaner wizzed in before I arrived sadly not actually cleaning or removing rubbish from communal area . The bin in the kitchen was full and should have been emptied prior to my arrival . The radiator in my room didn’t work and although there was an oil filled radiator it’s not ideal in a small room due to risk of hitting yourself on it. I couldn’t find a hair dryer when I needed it on the morning of departure. The help yourself breakfast was ok although I’m not keen on using opened milk as you’re not certain how it’s been dealt with previously especially when it’s up on the day . I couldn’t see any drying cloths so had to leave items to drain as had previous occupant. "
