I've stayed here on many occasions, mainly because it's relatively inexpensive and it's the only hotel in Grafton. SINCE it's the only hotel in Grafton, the owners don't pay much attention to keeping it up to modern standards. On the night I was there (10/12/2019) the WiFi was not working, so no internet. That's what I hated the most. When I got in the shower and tried pulling the shower curtain, the jury-rigged shower rod came loose. The towels, as usual, were so threadbare that they were ROUGH, and that's no exaggeration, but the shower water pressure was good. There was no alarm clock, and the TV was still a big old-fashioned TUBE. There are people who literally LIVE at the hotel, and they have improvised gas grills outside that they cook on. There's a little video lottery parlor that you can grab a beer at. I'm a pretty low-maintenance person, so I'm pretty forgiving. If all you require is a bed, a TV, and air conditioning, it'll do.
I knew I was in trouble when I saw that the number on our door was upside down. That was my first clue second the room stunk like smoke after they had told me it was a king non smoking room B's!
I went back and spoke to the desk attendant and she had told me that no one should been smoking in the room. But never offered to move us. Which I'm thinking that all the the rooms where the same.
And there many other things that I couldn't list. We even stopped to Wal Mart to buy sheets and pillow cases. But all and all me and my wife laughed about it 😂. And ✓ it off our list of Motor lodges by the way this was our first and last Motor Lodge for sure. 😬 Jim

Big room but obviously dated, which isn't a big deal. Super uncomfortable bed and the toilet made noise all night. Room smelled weird.
We had Ressies for 4 nights. On Sat. we needed fresh towels so went down to get towels only to find no laundry was done. Plus, we were informed that they have no weekend housekeeping! Received 1 towel for 3 people. Finally late Sat. we got 2 more towels after taking our dirty towels to the office. We had to empty our trash, continue to get our towels, and toilet tissue at the office. The hotel is for sale! It use to be a very nice place even though it is old. We have gone there for years as it is the only motel near our family! But after this experience we will not return!

Facility was ok. I didn't see the entire area or the bar/pub. I was able to walk to several stores and fast food establishments. Price was fair for the area.
At check in they offered a lower price than expedia charged, but it was hassel to cancel etc...old rooms, no coffee offered anywhwere, only a sheet for covers (and top quilt which was stained), gap at bottom of exterior door, no lock on door between rooms, no pool, and the on site bar...a hotel room a literal hotel room with a small table and poker machines and a blinking neon open sign....and remote had no back, tv was small and volume down button turned tv off
The first room we were given was not cleaned, the bed was still slept in and there was trash everywhere. The second room was decent but it was so dirty and smelled like smoke and was a non smoking room. It was just disgusting. Won’t be back
Loved the Motel and the workers were all friendly and very helpful with directions around the area. Our only downfall was that they didn't have any kind of breakfast there and no coffee or coffee pots in the room. Room was large and so much space and bed was awesome and very comfortable. Room was very clean and we hear no noise till early morning when the garbage truck came to empty the dumpster which was located right outside our room, but hey it is a business with people coming and going and a little noise is to be expected no matter where you go. Will stay there again if we are ever back in the area.
We rented 3 rooms and one of our party had to move rooms in the middle of the night because there was no heat and the TV didn't work in either room staff was nice but a bit of an inconvenance other than
that we had a nice weekend.
The floors were so dirty that my 11 month old nephew's knees, feet, and hands were black after crawling around on the floor. The counter around the sink was covered with ants. The bathroom had holes in the tiles, what looked like mold and mildew on the floor, in the shower and on the ceiling above the shower and the lights on the medicine cabinet didn't work and the overhead light in the bathroom was very dim. Also, it advertises as having free wifi, however it is very spotty and overall just isn't worth the trouble trying to connect and then reconnect and connect again and reconnect every 5-10 minutes

Just needed a place to sleep.
Clean enough. Quiet. Price was fine. We just needed a place stay for a night. After our concert we got to 77:the hotel at10:30 and was gone the next morning by 7:30. Sleep and shower.
I had to cancel due to smells that make me sick. The staff was extremely slow checking me in and then even slower trying to check me out. She couldn't figure it out, refused to give me proof of cancellation and said the owner would call me in an hour, that she had removed the charges. Charges are still on my bank account, no calls and I paid for another room due to the issues. I hope Expedia will take care of this for me. I have receipt for the new hotel to show I didn't stay there.
