We loved this place! So quiet and a beautiful place to relax. The breakfast was amazing and Bruce was so friendly and informative of the area. Would love to come back here!!!
It is exactly what a country inn should be! Charming and the innkeepers, Jon and Bruce are terrific. All the details are thought out to make your stay memorable. Perfect setting!
Would love to visit in the summer. Very spacious and cute loft. Was able to use futon for 2 kids. Had dinner at the dinning facilities and it was excellent. Beautiful venue for large gatherings, weddings… etc
No one there when got there. Had to leave and come back. Room was not cleaned properly. Garbage can still full. Coffee pod still in coffee maker. Hair on the shower tiles. Wondered what wasn’t cleaned properly.
I got a flat tire as I was leaving for a funeral. The owner was kind enough to drive us to the service and assisted with getting us a mechanic to look at our car when AAA took over 2 hours to respond. They could not have been more accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the inn was wonderful. Couldn't recommend the inn any more
My wife and I stayed at the Old Saco in on a recent anniversary trip in the area and we really loved the place. The pictures and descriptions do not do it justice, it is a very nice and well run Inn. The 2 owners were very genuine, helpful and nice and we enjoyed getting to know them briefly. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The dining room was cozy and comfortable and a fun place to hang out. They also have a small pub right off of the dining room area and it is really cute. We definitiely recommend the Old Saco Inn and will be coming back!

No room was available when we arrived, despite a confirmed reservation. The owner didn't really seem to care. Most places nearby were already sold out, making it difficult and time consuming to sort out.
A little out of the way 30 minutes from Conway. Few restaurant options off season. But this is a one of a kind place. Attention to details. Great owners. Great breakfast. Quiet serene. If you like a unique lodging experience and can take some peace of mind, you will love it.
The main Inn is very cool. There is a separate little pub off the dining area and a large fireplace in the center of dining room. A library above accessible by spiral staircase.
We absolutely loved the Old Saco Inn! We have traveled a lot and this place is up there amongst some of our favourite places we have ever stayed. We stayed at the Inn for 4 nights and skied at Shawnee Peak which was around 10-15mins away. Bruce and John (and Izzy the dog!) were lovely and such great hosts. The breakfast was amazing and we felt really at home during our stay. We also ate at the Bistro, the food was great along with good cocktails too. We plan to come back here during the summertime as we can't wait to show our friends and family this wonderful gem. Highly highly recommend.
Bruce and Jon were wonderful and attentive hosts. We were very pleased with the facilities - their new barn/restaurant is beautiful. We would recommend the Old Saco Inn for a relaxing getaway. Thank you Bruce and Jon!
