Snowgum romantic chalet for a snow trip for 1 couple only (no children) set on a tranquil 5 acre property featuring outdoor hot tub spa, pergoda with sun lounges, hammock, BBQ, King bed, cosy sunken lounge with open fire, kitchen, coffee machine, walk thru shower-dressing room, reading loft….all with views to snow capped winter mountains, farm land and animals.

Just 35 minutes to the ski fields of Falls Creek for skiing, boarding or just some fun in that beautiful white stuf



The Space:

Mal and I have designed our ever popular Snowgum chalet at Dreamers for 1 couple (no children over 9-10 months old and is not suitable for the older folk or immobile guests due to the low sunken lounge and a couple of steps)

We offer our guests a wonderful unique and romantic country escape to take in fresh air and mountain views:

It features a cosy unique sunken lounge with real log fire and all firewood is provided for your winter stay.

Excellent free wifi and mobile phone service is easily accessed in the chalet.

Snowgum romantic and private outdoor balcony spa (concrete hot tub) and sun lounges are only 1 step from the front door.

Winter snow Views over the mountains from the spa and chalet are lovely. Robes and candles are provided for added ambience and a complimentary bottle of wine is supplied for every couple.



A reverse cycle air-conditioner, ceiling fan and quality French linens and towels are provided.

There is a quaint Japanese inspired loft, TV DVD and DVD library are located in the cosy sunken lounge below.

The chalet is ONLY suitable for 1 couple with strictly NO children or pets allowed. A baby under 9 months or prior to crawling is fine.

The bed is an exceptionally comfortable King bed, with no single bed option.

We have a lovely shared pool on our property for summer use and the river is very close by for swimming as well.

Laundry facilities are provided in a nearby space.

Cafes|wineries|restaurants are short walk | drive in Mt Beauty or Bright or Beechworth.



Guest Access:

A shared on-site summer use pool is located on the 5 acre property for your use with your own safety responsibility.



The Neighborhood:

The location of Dreamers 5 acre property is pretty great as it is only a few minutes walk to cafes, restaurants, Post Office, all four local ski shops, Crank-handle Brewery, Tavern, takeaway food and coffee (fish n chips, pizza, hamburgers) and beautiful river and lake walks and did I mention no hills!

It’s all on one easy level to walk or cycle.



Getting Around:

You will require a vehicle to access and explore the area properly but Falls Creek Coach Service operates over the busy winter ski season period from Melbourne to Mt Beauty and Falls Creek.



Other Things to Note:

Whilst Snowgum is a beautiful chalet we do not provide 5 star services but a lovely chalet for your accommodation needs (no meals provided).

We strive to provide our guests a relaxing atmosphere to unwind and holiday.

We are not a perfect 5 star resort but a relaxed country property.

If you require a 5 star property/ accommodation we are not for you.



Snowgum chalet is quite secluded and located on a 5 acre Dreamers property with a couple of our other accommodation room options as well which are also listed on Air B and B site in Mt Beauty-Tawonga South:

(Glasshouse Spa Chalet for 1 or 2 couples and Garden House Apartment for up to 8 people. If u require further info of our other properties please send an enquiry)

Snowgum is set away from the other accommodation rooms for extra privacy.



Interaction with Guests:

We have no onsite member to meet and greet you but we are always a phone call away and close by….we aim to give you your own space.

Local information is supplied in the chalet or the local Information Centre in the village will be able to assist you which is open daily.

We are always available by phone or text and quite often on the property if you would like a chat but we do leave you to have total privacy during your stay.

Arrival instructions will be sent to guests prior to arrival.
