Fantastic stay
Linda was excellent to deal with, felixible check-in, and easy to communicate with. . The property was beautiful and was large enough for everyone to find their own space and relax in peaceful spots. Short walk to town. Would def stay again.

Highly Recommended
We spent a wonderful three nights at Willie Wagtails in April. It is a beautiful residence - clean, spacious, warm and modern. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. There were separate spaces for adults and children, and a great treehouse for outside adventures. The location was walkable into Bright, but far enough away to still appreciate the clear night sky. We had a great stay and would highly recommend the accommodation as a base for adventures in the wider area.

Great house, great host.
Stayed for 3 nights in mid-April 24 for my birthday. Great house and a very friendly host. My emails weren't working so I wasn't getting anything come through, I'm not sure if that's a Stays thing but all in all was happy with the whole process and property. For the price I think there should be unlimited firewood, which there isn't and it was too hard for us to source it in an affordable way. Maybe this could be an option with a caged and locked area. Overall its well worth it. thanks

My time to relax
Property is just great for a family gathering with young children to adults. Far away from the noise of town yet only 10 minutes to walk. Love the area it’s located allows you to relax but has all the comforts you could need

Golf weekend in Bright
Our group of 8 adults enjoyed our stay at Willie Wagtails. Spacious well equipped 4 bedroom property. Despite some wet weather there was ample room for us to spread out inside. Plenty of car parking space. Have never before stayed anywhere where everything was appropriately labelled & clear instructions re use of appliances.

Willy Wagtails
I stayed at Willy Wagtails with my family for my 40th birthday and had the best experience imaginable. The property is located just minutes from the town, and we walked there every day because it was so close. The property comes with everything listed in the advertisement and was true to its description. It was also much more beautiful and breathtaking in person that it’s online photos. The bedrooms were all comfortable and my guests were very happy. The master bedroom was exceptional with walk in robe that leads into the ensuite. The property is located in a quiet street, where I was able to enjoy my morning coffee whilst listening to the beautiful birds and wildlife from the love seat located on the the wrap around decking every morning. Linda is the most thoughtful and gracious host, who went above and beyond for us.

She provided us with all the information we needed and recommended excellent restaurants and places to go.

Thank you Linda for making my 40th birthday getaway a memorable and great experience. I highly recommend Linda and Willy Wagtails for a wonderful experience.

Lovely
A very spacious house in a great location amongst the bush and very close to the centre. Rooms are spacious and private from the leaving area. Stayed here with friends and we had a lovely time. Had the fire place on every night as it did get to -1. Very nice touch from the owner to have a bottle of local wine and chocolates for us. Would definitely stay here again!

A magnificent property
We absolutely loved everything about the property and look forward to heading back there in the future. The surrounds are stunning as is the house itself and suitable for all ages. We couldn't recommend it more highly and the hosts were super accomodating and great to deal with. 5 stars!

Impressive location grand house
We had a fantastic catch up with family young and old in Bright at this property near to town to be able to walk yet set back on the block so you thought you where alone with nature.great place to relax or do any type of activity with the luxury of the accommodation to return have a meal and relax with a glass of wine

Great Location
Great location!! We’ll equipped house with excellent layout and facilities. Kitchen had a large stove with an additional fridge which made catering for a large group over Xmas extremely easy. Contact with Linda was prompt and efficient.

Willie Wagtails was the best of many that we have stayed at in Bright over a number of years. Perfect large communal living area for our group. No shortcuts and everything we could possibly need. Ski adventures
Willy Wagtails is an amazing property. The layout of the house was super suitable for our big group. The kids were able to make noise and carry on in the a completely separate area to where the adults were able to hang out, catch up, sit by the fire and have nice dinners. Located nice and close to town, we were able to mix time in the village with time spent at home (swings to play on, a fort to climb in and a games room). Would definitely stay again.

Great for a group
The house is very large and great for a group of people. Multiple people can use the kitchen at once. There is a seperate area for anyone wanting to watch the TV. A very relaxing stay.

Beautiful, well set up property
I stayed at Willie Wagtails with six girlfriends for a cycling weekend. The property was beautifully setup - the kitchen had everything we needed, there was indoor bike storage (which could also be used for skis) and loads of room for us to spread out and relax. It was a really quiet location but only 10min walk from the centre of town (there's quite a steep hill when walking back to the house but it didn't bother us). Really minor issues were that we only stayed three nights but had to go buy toilet paper, and there were only two hand towels between all of us, so they got a tad damp. Otherwise it was perfect.

An uphill retreat
A fantastic property to stay at with all the facilities you need. We loved sitting on the under covered deck and watching the bird life and animals. A short walk in to town however be warned it is all down hill on the way in so all up hill on the way back home! Loved having the spare / toy room right next to the kitchen area for the kids to play in. Dishwasher, clothes dryer was all very handy. 4 generous sized bedrooms with plenty of room and very comfy beds. We had a lovely stay and can't wait to go back.

Beautiful house, fantastic location
This house was perfect for our family stay, with the 4 bedrooms with queen size beds comfortably accommodating my husband & I, my parents, his mum & our adult daughter. The house was beautifully presented, with ample room to spread out, everything you could need in a kitchen & intriguing artwork throughout. Just a short walk down the hill & across a convenient bridge over the river & we were in the centre of town, though the walk back up the hill was a little more strenuous but well worth it! Our only regret was not having more time, could easily have stay longer than the 3 nights we had.

Autumn Break with Family
We stayed at Willie Wagtails with our daughter, son in law and our two year old grandson, it was our first trip away all together. We had a brilliant time, the house was perfect for a two year old, plenty of room to run around and he loved the wildlife. The house was perfect in every way, clean and every thing you needed. There were plenty of toys for the little one. to play with. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space in the bathrooms. The area the house was situated in was very peaceful. Excellent property. Wonderful Stay
This is a gorgeous home with lots of space, a wonderful kitchen -with pantry supplies and loads of utensils/equipment, fantastic comfy beds, a beautiful vantage point looking out at gum trees and a very quiet and peaceful location. We appreciated the wine and chocolates. We loved the kookaburra who visited the balcony and let us pat it. The only thing we missed was perhaps a rug for the chilly nights. We would love to stay again.

Great Bush Setting
The house looked the same as its photo! Large, spacious, modern home, great for large groups,never felt squashed in, with plenty of great places to relax in and around the house,verandahs all sheltered within a bush setting. Walks into Bright easy and picturesque along Ovens River. Clean throughout and kitchen had we'll stocked pantry, complimentary chocolate and wine Lovely pressed cotton sheets, comfy beds and pillows. Generous walk-in wardrobe and changing area before Ensuite bathroom of generous proportions. Owner very helpful and friendly. A wonderful stay and will come back.

Willie Wagtails was the perfect location for our family (two sets of grandparents, two parents and two kids) holiday in Bright. Spacious modern home in a beautiful natural setting. Amazing house and location
Our group of 7 ladies had the most wonderful weekend away thanks to our amazing host Linda. All beds were made up individually for our needs and the house was immaculate. We were lucky enough to be in Bright over the festival weekend and had the best time exploring the town and getting involved in the festivities. Linda created a lovely environment for our getaway and having a fire at night to drink our wine by was an added bonus. An abundance of firewood was made available to us to use at no extra cost. The house is huge and heaps of character. Everything was spotless and having linen and towels provided was most welcome. As no one was using the house the night before we were able to have an early arrival time and Linda was always available to assist us with any questions. I highly recommend this home for a getaway and the location is excellent for those wanting to explore the area or maybe hit the ski slopes. Thank you for the most welcoming and relaxing getaway.
