Liked the room very comfortable bed and quirky lights. liked the stained glass window and small balcony with sea view. The bed was exreemly comfortable. The only downside was the room was very hot no air con but had a fan which we had to keep on all night and throughout our stay to cool the room. Bathroom was ok.

The location of the property was great for what we needed and our host gave us what we needed. The parking was a bit of a hassle and the internet could have been a lot better. Due to where our room was located, we got a lot of noise of people ringing the door bell and walking through the hallway. Generally though, we still had a good time and this place is great for being in the centre by the water.

We had a lovely trip to Brighton! I was impressed by the speedy email responses from staff leading up to our visit. No questions ever went unanswered, so thank you for that :) The lady was also very helpful in ensuring our luggage was kept safe whilst we parked/retrieved the car. We were assisted in purchasing a 2 day parking permit, my only criticism is that we were not informed about just how difficult parking is in the area. We drove around for 20 minutes before eventually moving a dustbin so that we could park in the zone we had purchased the permits for. The hotel was conveniently located centrally and on the sea front, and it was clean and well presented. We were located in the loft rooms and being quite tall, ended up hitting our heads quite frequently on the sloped ceilings. Ouch! I liked the set up we had though, we had booked 2 rooms and had a little shared bathroom and kitchen area. We had all the amenities we needed and there was a lovely little reception area downstairs with a dining table should you wish to use it. Highly recommended.

Well they took payment before i arrived it was pending then said it would go back in and took other payment. But first one still pending on leaving.rooms werent ready and we travelled from scotland had to wait.rooms so small no where to sit than bed.asked for 2 rooms together got different floors.no food available. Wouldn't go back

This is a gem of a B&B. Can't rate it highly enough. David & Eric are superb hosts. Amazing breakfast, lovely clean room. Nothing is too much trouble for these two. Would highly recommend.

From a phone call from one of the owners on the morning of my arrival inquiring about my arrival time and details for possible parking permits, to the warm welcome from David on arrival (inc free map of Brighton), shows the care and attention they give as hosts. Had the room just above the entrance on the first floor which had a wonderful Helter skelter stain glass window, and it was spotlessly clean with a comfortable, clean bed and bedding and well appointed shower room. Unfortunately i didn't get to try the breakfast because of an early start, hopefully will remedy that the next time i can stay. Would happily recommend a stay here for business or leisure and would return, in fact did try again the week later, but they were full.

Fantastic!!

All round was fantastic, the hosts were kind, thoughtful and cooked a fantastic breakfast every morning! The location of Guest and the City is great, you can get to most main attractions of the area within a few minutes walk. We will be staying here again on our next Brighton trip for sure!

David and Eric are fantastic hosts. On arrival (and departure) they brought our cases up (and down) the stairs, while other B&Bs we have stayed they left it to us with no help. They are very caring hosts, spend time with you recommending restaurants and things to do, and are genuinely interested in making your stay in Brighton the best experience. David happily booked our taxis and made dinner reservations. The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful top notch. We hope to go back one day to see these lovely people.
