Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend The check-in process was extremely frustrating. The property required an upload of both the front and back of my credit card, along with your drivers license which felt highly unsecure, unnecessary and non PCI compliant. The only positive aspect of the stay was the location. Beyond that, the experience was substandard. While the apartment was dust-free, the floors were sticky, the bathroom was grubby, finger prints on every surface of the apartment, the sofa was heavily stained and grubby, and the bed was nothing more than a thin foam mattress – very uncomfortable. My colleague and I stayed for just one night. We used only two coffee cups (which we washed), three towels, two face washers, both beds and we ate out - so the kitchen was not used. The accommodation had already been fully paid for before our arrival. However, after checking out, an unexplained $500 charge was taken from my credit card. Attempts to contact the host were futile – the host appeared to be overseas, and the phone call was filled with background noise, including chickens crowing, making communication impossible. I am still disputing the charge with no resolution. This property does not appear to be professionally managed or regulated. I strongly advise against booking here.
