Welcome to "McLeod" Unit 5, Mintee on Prosperity with a great north-east view of the ocean.

"McLeod" is ideal for families and couples, featuring an open plan with modern kitchen,large dining and living area with bi-fold doors leading onto the balcony. Further features are the 4 bedrooms (2 x Queen, Twin, Single) 2 bathrooms, microwave, Dishwasher,TV, DVD, radio/CD player, top-load washing machine, dryer, Weber Gas BBQ and lock-up garage.

The location has little traffic and is in easy walking access to three beaches on the oceanside of the main road (Cylinder, Deadman's and Frenchman's), a grocery store, fresh fish sellers, restaurants and the famous Straddie Pub.

Linen supplied and beds made for your arrival.

Dirty, in need of repairs, and mice and cockroach!

Place in need of serious attention. Car got locked in garage for 24 hours because door wouldn't unlock so we couldn't sight-see. Cockroaches crawling around bathroom and kitchen at night. Woke to dying mouse next to bed one morning! Real estate said "that's normal this time of year"

Weather was very hot but we had a lovely breeze mostly and could leave the windows open, however not all bedrooms have ceiling fans but there are portable fans for use. And now, since his passing, I come on my own. We/I love the location and also the home-iness. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It is wonderful to look out over the ocean and watch the whales during whale migration or the dolphins any time of year. And it is a quick walk to the beach...hardly ever use the car. The kitchen is well-appointed and the master bed very comfy! And I love Angela McCleod’s original artwork!!

Beautiful spot and great location. Place is a bit run down but has all equipment needed. Not very happy with cleanliness, especially bathrooms around shower area. It would have been helpful if they provided a dish cloth.
