The establishment was okay overall and reasonable for the price. The room was clean and the location made it easy to find places nearby for dinner. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. Parking was a real issue — although it’s meant to be one vehicle per room, several spots were taken up by trailers, and one vehicle with a trailer managed to occupy six spaces. The car park was completely full by 6pm. The hallways were noisy throughout the night, and the bed was extremely firm, almost like sleeping on the floor. Not one of the better stays I’ve had.

I was impressed with how clean the room and bathroom was. Room neat and comfortable. Walking distance to the river and restaurants. Easy check in (received a code for our door and got in easily). Easy to park. Suited our overnight well. Improvements: We had no hand towel or flannel. Remote didn’t work so we couldn’t watch TV - it needed new batteries.

We found out on arrival at 9am that a non contact check-in meant nobody at reception. So a general idea of arriving earlier than check in time to drop off luggage and go exploring was not permitted by this place. We were offered by the maintenance man in exchange for extra money an earlier check in to our room. The deluxe family room was very spacious, clean and comfortable albeit a bit old. The restaurant was only open M-F and we left at 4am for an early flight so cannot say if breakfast was served on the weekend. Parking seemed ample. No staff to comment on which was the weirdest to every one that was trying to check in there. Just a code given to access the room. Thankfully there was a couple of shops within a 10-15 min walk to save the stay. Unfortunately missed the chance to be tourists in Brisbane when travelling with small children who were exhausted after the long wait almost 2hrs to drop off our bags and get some food. Location was convenient for the airport however found it quite noisy with traffic, other patrons and a loud drilling sound that went on until early evening.
