I honestly don’t understand these comments, the description specifically states the location is on US Highway 18, which is a major highway across the United States.
The pictures of the bed in reference to being on the floor and two mattresses is partly untrue, one is a boxspring, and the other is a mattress on top of the boxspring, and it is showed in pictures on the advertisement in the loft which has a low ceiling.
All day beds have only one mattress with a spring platform under the one mattress.
The trundle bed was moved to the upstairs loft as there turned out to be no room to utilize the trundle bed alongside the daybed in the updated pictures as seen online.
Unless the guest staying in the daybed was extremely heavy, I personally have slept in that bed many times, and it’s an extremely comfortable bed, but someone being overweight would probably have an issue with any of the beds provided honestly.
This is not city water as it’s located in the country and it does have well water, which is ordinary, tested and perfect well water, to compare it to city water is unfair.
This guest admits they were elderly couples, and for them to even rent this tiny house should’ve been out of the question as there were stairs, involved, and low ceiling heights for the lofts, and in the country on a major US Highway.
I have owned and rented this property for over three years, and have never received any of the comments that these people have left in their rating.
These type of complaints are out of line to any the rest of the great guests that I’ve had in many years of renting out two different B&Bs.
I feel sorry for these travelers, as I don’t believe they will find accommodations anywhere close to what I am offering for what they received for the price, the location in North, Iowa, the rural setting, which is beautiful, the gorgeous, tiny house they stayed in, which, in fact, is a retirement home for most people called a park model home, with gorgeous furnishings.
I believe honestly that A Hotel is best for these elderly travelers.
