Living right on the lake

"Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft und können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Besonders begeistert hat uns die direkte Möglichkeit, ins Wasser zu gehen – ein echtes Highlight, vor allem, da wir unseren eher wasserscheuen Hund dabei hatten und uns keine Sorgen machen mussten, dass er verloren geht.Die Räume sind komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet; es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Alles wirkt durchdacht und sehr gepflegt. Auch das Ambiente hat uns sofort überzeugt und trägt maßgeblich zum Wohlfühlfaktor bei.Angenehm überrascht waren wir zudem von der Ruhe: Trotz Hochsaison war das Umfeld deutlich entspannter, als wir es erwartet hätten. Für uns die perfekte Kombination aus Erholung und Komfort."

"It’s a very decent place. Almost everything I needed during my trip. Peaceful surroundings, good beer and breakfast. I wish rooms were equipped with AC, especially during the recent heatwave but I understand for this price."

"This is a beautiful old hotel property. It has great bones and the rooms have been updated and modernized nicely. That said, there are some very quirky aspects to the property. Firstly, there is no reception - just an automated machine that provides a key card. This means that there is no one to ask about parking, amenities etc. The second thing is that no one speaks English at all. The cleaning staff was very sweet but could not speak a word. We had to use Google Translate for all interactions including ordering breakfast, asking for towels, etc. Finally, the public spaces are very austere. This seems out of place with the historic hotel. For example, there are just IKEA tables and chairs in the eating area but then there is a large open foyer on the second floor with a grand piano. But there are no chairs or couches in that room. It seems with a bit of TLC this could be a great boutique hotel and cool place to hang out. This is especially true when you consider the location right across the street from the historical theatre where we attended the International Ballet Festival."

"The room was very clean and in great condition. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were nice and plush. The closet was a huge walk in style so I was able to unpack and not have to feel like living out of a luggage bag. I loved the in room refrigerator. The shower was powerful and luxurious. Internet connected easy and was a good speed for working. Being an American speaking English only all staff was kind and spoke English for me. I felt right at home."
