It is a holiday paradise for individualists and families, for getting to know the region and the locals, hiking or cycling, riding, swimming and relaxing. Hospitality has a long tradition in Schönhagen. There are nice discos in Damp, Dörphof and Eckernförde. If you would like to breathe clear sea air in autumn and winter you can still swim in salt water at the pools in Damp and Eckernförde.
