Our family loved this cabin. It was so beautiful on the inside and out. The AC went out the first day and Jaime was at the cabin around 7 am and waited outside until we woke up to fix it. We had a blast and planned to come back.
It was a perfect relaxing New Years weekend. Some friends just wanted to hot tub watch football play games and that’s exactly what we were able to accomplish!
It is a beautiful property and though we had difficulty finding it, the property manager talked us there. We enjoyed the hot tub, Corn Hole Game, kitchen and grill on the porch, playing cards, and fishing in the lake and rivers near it. We also went to a few breweries and enjoyed them. We ended up cooking all our breakfasts there, and 2 meals there, which worked beautifully.
The cabin was everything that we hoped for. Very comfortable & clean. The soaker tub & showers were my favorite. It was a mixture of my husbands 50th Birthday & our 31st Anniversary.
Thank you for an enjoyable weekend.
Great location, wonderful property with terrific amenities. Could have used a few washcloths - lol A little hard to find as no house numbers were on the sign, but worth the search! Secluded and tranquil!

Away from it All - but not
The Good: This is a beautiful cabin inside and out. Someone spent a lot of money designing and decorating this cabin. It is staged immaculately. It has all the amenities you could hope for inside including a cool claw-foot tub in the Master bathroom and a jacuzzi on the outer deck. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed having meals out by the fire pit.The Bad: The management company needs to have the duct works cleaned. You can see the build up of crud on the HVAC vents in the living room. My allergies were awful as a result of the air quality inside the cabin. In addition (and I know it’s the wilderness and you should expect some), there were a few bugs inside the cabin. This is easily fixed and it was not like they were everywhere. The Ugly: This is NOT your grandfather’s Broken Bow. The place is literally packed with Texans, not that there’s anything wrong with Texans. :) This cabin is not away from it all, but actually quite literally surrounded fairly closely by other cabins. You will definitely be listening to the other families around you, especially the ones on the hill behind the cabin. Not a big deal, if you don’t mind company. The noise was not apparent when inside at all. The road leading in is a mess, unless you have a truck. Definitely follow the alternative route they mention if you don’t have a high clearance vehicle. There is a fair amount of traffic on the roads leading to the cabin. They are narrow, so you will have adjust in order to get by other cars. Recommend driving a truck or SUV.If you are going on a weekend, expect large crowds wherever you go in Hochatown. This once sleepy little town is now a full-on touristy area. Constant traffic, packed restaurants and bars, etc. It took us 1.5 hours to get a take out pizza at the Grateful Head (it was worth the wait). If you don’t mind crowds and traffic, not a big deal.In conclusion, we would not come back again, but not because of the cabin. It is an awesome cabin. We prefer a more remote cabin experience without the crowds of Hochatown.
We had a little trouble finding the cabin, but after texting the owner who was super helpful, we got there just fine. It’s an excellent location and absolutely beautiful. We saw deer every morning, were super close to town enjoyed the quiet feel while being close to everything.
We came with another small family and truly enjoyed our stay. Everything was so close and it was beautiful. The house exceeded our expectations and we would come back again and again!

Great
We love this cabin. My 3rd time at this one. Perfect setup. Look forward to our next getaway! Thanks for a lovely time
This property is very beautiful, feels fairly private (other cabins are around, but plenty of trees in-between), and has a small brook behind the house near the firepit you can listen to while sitting around a bonfire! The cabin was clean and was as advertised in the listing's photos.

Hochatown cabin
The cabin was really nice. The kitchen was nicely equipped. My complaints were the little minor items, like no washcloths in the bathrooms, one of the hand soap containers were empty, no coffee filters for the coffee pot and no batteries in the living room remote.
