"The air conditioning was the kind that plugged into the wall and sit in the window. I had to turn mine off because it just got very loud every few minutes —not really good for sleeping. My family said their air conditioning was OK, but it was also a larger room. I did have a room right across from the elevator so that also did not help for noise. It is an old building so you’re not going to feel like in you’re in a very modern hotel but it was very clean and comfortable. "

"Great location steps from time square and still walking distance from other places. Baggage hold was a life saver since you can check in until 4pm. Room was a little outdated but worked well for a quick stay. I'd def go back"

"Great Location !! Kept fairly clean we just had issues with our bath tub drain but besides that our stay was extremely pleasant. They give you a $15 credit daily to use in the cafe we stocked up on water and other drinks for the fridge, great perk ! We will be back"

"Convenient to EWR airport. Shuttle bus on time. Cordial restaurant staff. Generous plate portions. Little noisy if room is facing the pool. Overall: satisfied."

"We booked an upgraded room unfortunately when we arrive, the room was not ready and it was broken. There was a lot of confusion among the staff of what was going on. We ended up waiting for many hours in a small cramped lobby. My wife is incredibly tired. We felt frustrated and angry, and when we had to be put in a room, we were putting in a room with incredibly noisy air conditioner. I was like sitting next to a diesel truck then room also was lower grade, but we stayed in there till our other room is ready. We moved into our right room ready by the television was broken, and I had a flickering light stove would give an epileptic person some sort of seizure the entire experience was lackluster and for the money that we paid it was completely underwhelming would avoid it all costs. Plus location and cleanliness negative everything else."
