Atargatis "the first mermaid"; an updated & spacious home, close to everything!

WINTER RATE SPECIAL IN PLACE 2024-2025!!!

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home. This charming home offers a nice place to settle in while you adventure the coast. You are close to it all; local stores, breweries, restaurants, and close beach access points. With a spacious backyard and fun activities to do while staying in, you may not want to venture out as often as you thought! Enjoy the fire pit, BBQ, and a game or two of corn hole.

The neighborhood is mostly residential, however, you are close to other commercial businesses, restaurants, a brewery and local beach access points. This home is located in a residential and commercial mixed neighborhood. Specifically, a commercial business is located across the street from the home, it is a heating and air company so there is not much activity, we just want our guests to be aware before their arrival.

Superfly Martini Bar and Grill is just down the road, walk or drive to enjoy great food and great service!

You are also close to the local's favorite beach access/viewpoint; Chetco Point Beach Access is just .5miles away (about a 10 min walk from the home).

Great House!

Beautiful home and close to everything! It had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. We loved sitting on the sun porch and watching the sunset.

Great Place to Stay

We felt like this home was close to everything we wanted to do and had everything we needed, plus extras that were helpful: the wagon for going to the beach, beach towels, coloring books and games to entertain the kids. Beds were comfortable and the home had plenty of space for our family.

This home was perfect for our short stay. Very close to everything we needed. My niece got married at the Capella by the Sea, reception at Chetco Brewing Co. All locations were minutes from our home away from home. The home itself was VERY clean! Check in was easy and someone put out the garbage for us. After reading another review in the little book at the home it sounds like whoever is taking care of the property possibly put it out. Thank you for that! It definitely felt like home staying there. I’d stay again if I ever make it back out to Brookings.

It was perfect

The house was perfect for us. My parents are at Azalea Gardens. We were there to celebrate my moms (who has Alzheimer's) 87th birthday. The location was super convenient. I wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed the back yard. Thank you!

Nice location

Location was close to everything. Beds were comfortable. Primary bedroom shower is lovely. Bedrooms smelled a bit musty, I would suggest taking out carpet and putting in a solid surface material. De-humidifer and air purifier would probably be a good idea as well.

Such a nice place to stay!

The pictures are nice but don’t do it justice, our group was a bit of a mix and this rental met or exceeded everything we needed. We were out and about for a lot of our stay but when we were home it was super cozy and inviting. Wish we could have done the walk to the park a little more and I definitely recommend it especially when the little one rides in the wagon 🙂 It’s a quick drive to Fred Mayer which was so nice and even though there were businesses nearby we were never bothered by noise. Truly such a nice place to stay, hope to be able to book this one again!

Home away from home

Our family of 4 adults and a teen stayed comfortably. It has a huge well stocked kitchen, large dining area, and a super comfortable family room. It’s right next to downtown and has everything you need.
