    The Space:

The most scenic stretch of the Oregon Coast awaits outside your door at this single-story cabin above Whaleshead Beach. Spend your mornings beachcombing, hiking, and taking long drives along the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, and your afternoons relaxing on a deck that wraps around the house.

This home is part of an oceanfront community that sits across the Oregon Coast Highway and up the hill from Whaleshead Beach. It's a beautiful place to get outdoors, whether you're hiking the Oregon Coast Trail or photographing incredible sunsets. Harris Beach State Park, Cape Ferrelo, the Thomas Creek Bridge, Natural Bridges, and Arch Rock State Park are all within a gorgeous, seven-mile drive.

Return home from the beach each day to light the gas grill, set the table on the deck, and marvel at the view of the lush woods and mountains. The interior showcases the same lovely scene, thanks to large picture windows that line the living room.

Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen with every essential, an eat-in dining table for homemade meals and board games, and a smart TV in the living room to screen your favorite movies each evening. Complimentary WiFi is provided for your convenience as well.

Cute place to stay. Best to arrive during daylight, as we had great difficulty at night navigating the resort. Bedrooms are decent sized and comfortable, although the only bathroom is in the master bedroom. Made for uncomfortable bathroom use from my brother in law when we were trying to sleep in the master bedroom. Plenty of pillows and extra blankets close to the beach.

Comfortable little cabin/condo that served our needs in a great location. We could have used some more towels and basic cooking ware, and it also needed a new icemaker and dishwasher. Overall a great value and a good place to stay when exploring the coast or redwoods.

Great location. Pleasant enough place. The cleaners need to clean under the beds. They haven't been doing that and dust has really gathered. The bathroom lock needs a new screw to be fixed.

Quiet neighborhood. Inside was clean. Stocked well. Down side: bbq was disgustingly dirty. Totally unusable. Patio furniture and deck covers in branches, debree, spider webs. I don't think they have this place sprayed regularly for pesticides. Throw that screen away, especially if you're trying to sell this place. It's falling apart. Inside was really nice. A bit musty smell when you first get there. It was fine once we opened the windows. Good place for a vacation. Beach is just across the road!Btw: 3 times they sent us check in information with no lock box combo. We had to call the management center. That was stressful.

Check in was unnecessarily complicated as they required that you go online and upload a drivers license photo and then a selfie. Ridiculous by itself, but then the system wasn't working. After several attempts, I finally called the company and the person who took the call tried to walk me through it and had no success. Finally, she got someone to approve sending me the check in information I would need to get into the house. But then, when after a 7 hour drive we got there, we founf out that the address given was not to the house but to a restaurant that I assume acted as an office. We could not find the house because of no address and there were several units there that looked like the one we had a picture of. We needed a unit number....we didn't have one no where in any of the info we had from the owners. We finally called expedia because no one was answering from the office in Tallahassee, Florida and somehow they were able to trace down a unit number for us. Ended a very frustrating day of just trying to get checked in. The house inside was clean and very comfortable, but the unit was for sale and they have completely let the outside go. Little to no maintenance outside. Very dirty and unkempt deck and patio....barbeque has not been cleaned in forever and was unusable. We personally will not use again and can not recommend it to anyone else...mostly because of the checkin frustrations.

This was the most stripped down, basic house I have ever rented and stayed in. Whole resort looks unkept and unloved. I can see why a bunch of them have FOR SALE signs posted. Rotting wood, weeds growing in gutters, uncut grass, peeling paint, rusted patio furniture, etc. Location was the only plus for us on this one.
