"Hotel is old and the shower leaked from the pocket light and then into the main room. Maintenance was frustrated and we were moved to a new room with two double beds. The shower handle fell off in this room. The place needs a huge makeover "

"I was looking for something different from the typical hotel room. Loft style sounded interesting. I should have read more reviews that referred to the lack of amenities and the fact that it’s really just a place to sleep, one or 2 nights. I don’t think I’d book ALoft again because the hardwood floors (only one small area rug) were not comfortable and there was no place to sit for a moment and relax. There is a breakfast table which my husband liked. There is no traditional dresser ( only a 2-drawer cabinet in the bathroom). The bathroom counter has plenty of space, but the sink faucet was not placed correctly so water went all over the floor until we learned that you can only let the water flow at a trickle. Also, there was no cold water from the sink. On the plus side, the desk staff were excellent and there is a really great rooftop bar/ restaurant which was so appealing that we went there 3 times in 3 days. The bartender and waitstaff there were very accommodating, and the river views were extraordinary."

"We had a fantastic stay at The Bliss studio house. Nice and spacious for the 2 of us and practically new ! We were just a few blocks away from the venue where the wedding was being held, so the walk was enjoyable ! Thank you again, we will come back, that's for sure !"

"Really cute house! Parking in the back of the house is great! Loved the back porch & rockers. Bedrooms are good sized & comfortable. The hallway bathroom is a bit snug but ok. The “master bedroom” has its own bathroom that is a good size. Love that both have walk-in showers! Nice coffee station with cups below. And included with out stay were snacks & a bottle of wine; pleasantly surprised! The couch is super comfy & easy to nap/sleep on as an extra “bed”. Nice, easy walk to downtown Wilmington past some beautiful old homes and churches. The easy accessible walk to downtown was the best draw for us, even later in the evening! Definitely recommend!"
