"When spending the extra money on a riverview suite, be sure to ask them if it's a full or partial view. I was switched from my double queen to a single king and the riverview I paid extra for was barely visible. 90% of my "view" was the parking lot and building beside the property. The happy hour was mediocre with crackers, cheese, salsa, and tortilla chips. There was also a bowl of trail mix. There was limited seating so I ended up standing along the wall to eat. The breakfast was pretty much what you would expect from any major brand hotel offering a 'hot breakfast". Eggs, bacon, cereal, bagels... the norm. They did have a made-to-order omelette station which is typical for Embassy Suites. With the hotel being in such a nice area, I expected more as I have visited mulitple Embassy Suites across the country. This one was just ok."

"Great location on the beach. Parking was easy. It is a non-smoking facility and grounds. Signs are clearly posted and are clearly disregarded by guests. I was unable to leave the sliding door open to enjoy the sound of the beach because of the smoking from neighboring balconies. I was reclining on the shared patio at one point and a gentleman walked up, ironically, right by the no smoking sign, and lit up a cigarette. I contacted the company three times, they said they sent a message and said they cannot issue me a refund because it was booked through Expedia. Expedia informed me that the hotel controlled whether or not a refund was given so I'm very disappointed in the property's dishonesty. I would refer them to say sorry no refunds allowed rather than tell me they couldn't control what Expedia did. "

"Cute revived motel with modern flare. Pet friendly. Beds were soft. 1 block from the beach and pavilion area. Communications were all.done via text message but instructions were clear so we didnt have any issues. No management on site. 1 parking space per room."

"Clean room, beach front, nice tiki bar on pier. Hotel rooms renovation construction still ongoing. Work was during the daytime. Staff excellent. 4 star because of ongoing sanding/painting of exterior rails. "

"Hotel is old and the shower leaked from the pocket light and then into the main room. Maintenance was frustrated and we were moved to a new room with two double beds. The shower handle fell off in this room. The place needs a huge makeover "

"Stayed 3 nights and had a great time. Rooms are clean, and the views are great. They have something for everyone. Looking forward to coming back."
