"Great place for a weekend. My kids love it. Melissa is a great host. It's a little spooky driving out at night for the first time but it's a lot of fun. We have stayed twice and would recommend! I recommend getting there before dark so you don't have a million bugs around the doors from the lights."

"We enjoyed our weekend getaway to Columbus. We arrived to find a clean, quiet, and comfortable villa. We dined at a couple great restaurants and because we had a full kitchen awaiting at "home," we were able to takeaway our leftovers. The beds were comfy and the sound of cicadas sung us to sleep. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you, Karen, for being such an awesome host!"

"This was the second time a group of women leaders at my church spent a weekend at the Howell House. We all agree: This place is FABULOUS! The decor, the well-stocked kitchen, and the setting made for such a lovely and relaxed time. The housecleaning wasn't great this time, but the Howell House Retreat has an incredible amount of sheets and towels, so it wasn't a show-stopper. We all want to come back next year! The two living areas are incredibly comfortable and all the mattresses got great reviews from our group."
