    to the green heart of Germany.

    The town of Brotterode-Trusetal is situated on the southwestern slope of the Thuringian Forest. Nestled in the Truse Valley, the town is surrounded by coniferous and mixed forests.

    The town’s excellent location, many attractive destinations for day trips, and the crisp, clear mountain air have made Trusetal a popular holiday spot.

    Well-marked hiking trails are a hallmark of the Thuringian Forest. Hikers often have the pleasure of observing wildlife in its natural habitat. Thanks to its elevation of 300–900 metres, Trusetal is also an attractive destination for winter sports enthusiasts.


    Our non-smoking holiday apartment (for 2–4 people) is particularly well-suited for families with children.

    The holiday rental is situated in a pleasantly quiet location on the edge of the forest.
