Relaxing Waterfront Home on Elm Island Great Fishing on Lake Tichigan/Fox River

"The location was a perfect get away for our plans this year. The space is small but felt large with the open concept living and kitchen areas. The kitchen was well equipped. I would suggest a hand mixer and adding a few storage containers again. I loved how we had an entire area to store all of our food as many places we have gone to have had minimal food storage. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of toom in master suite for storing your clothes and items. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels. The kayaks are basic but then again I am spoiled and left my good kayak at home. The kayaking in the area is easy so the kayaks easily did their job. We were entertained several times a day by the swans. The location is ideal for getting into Milwaukee and surrounding areas but while at the place you feel like you have gotten away. I am an avid runner and biker and was able to get in some good bike rides and runs. My brother found a trail nearby as well. As stated listen to the details and don't plan on swimming at the property as the water lilies are dense. The outside space is small but fenced in and the neighbors are quiet although the one side had a dog which one of my dogs didn't like. We tried to have fires but between the weather and mosquitoes didn't work out well but the pit is really nice. A nice side note is that the pizza place nearby served gluten free pizza! And it was delicious as well."

"We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was as described, comfy beds, and plenty of extras (games, blankets, etc.) Sean was super helpful and quick to respond. The lake and pier was nice. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Sean"

"I loved the 70’s vibe in the room, it brought back my childhood. The parking right outside the door was so great. It was nice to have spectrum, on demand, and a bigger tv. The bathtub was also deep. It was so very quiet you don’t see cinder block walls anymore. The second larger refrigerator was excellent. The red corner chair with ottoman was nice for tv watching. The air conditioning worked great."

It was a beautiful place and very clean and comfortable.It was very nice to be near Browns Lake and also within walking distance to our family reunion Will definitely look to return to this house if available next year for our reunion Thanks to Carrie for updates and checking in with us"

"Everything was great with the house, cleanliness, space etc. sadly it rained so we couldn’t enjoy the decks or lake. Obviously not the fault of the host. We had a couple messages that didn’t get answered regarding use of the indoor fireplace (the rain made it cold) or the awning which would have given us time outside in light rain. Wasn’t sure how to use. Lovely spot"

"What a wonderful place! It was clean and spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with quality pots, pans, etc. The lake is beautiful and we really enjoyed the fire pit! We would definitely recommend this property and return for another visit!!"
