    Step into a beautifully restored 1950s mid-century modern home in Brownsville's historic district. The Palm House blends original terrazzo floors, exposed wood beams, and iconic architecture with modern comforts. Relax in the private shaded courtyard beneath mature ebony trees, gather around the fire pit, soak in the hot tub, or enjoy the spacious glass-walled living room and chef's kitchen. Conveniently located near downtown Brownsville, UTRGV, Gladys Porter Zoo, local restaurants, museums, and only 30 minutes from South Padre Island and SpaceX.

    Perfect for families, couples, and small groups, the home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests. Extra guests possible.The downstairs primary suite features a king bed and private bath. Upstairs, you'll find a spacious loft-style suite with two queen beds, a sitting area, workspace, and full bath. Additional sleeping accommodations include a queen Murphy bed in the common area and an air mattress available upon request. Amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV, hot tub, fire pit, charcoal grill, fully equipped chef's kitchen, washer/dryer, pet-friendly accommodations (with pet approval and pet fee $100 approval), and both on-site and off-street parking

Mid Century treasure

We were a family of 7, multi-generations and this was the perfect house for us. We needed to be in Brownsville for a state track meet so staying in South Padre wasn't ideal. We found this gem on the historic Palm Blvd. Lots of living space for everyone and attention to detail with the amenities. The grounds were pictured as lush and green but the intense heat had taken a toll. It would have been great to have the tree debris blown off of the patio prior to guest arrival. We enjoyed the easy location and well stocked home. We would highly recommend this property.
