"This cabin exceeded expectations! Clean and comfortable with everything you need- everything you need for cooking and dining except for food - plenty of towels and linens, a/c unit worked perfectly during some very hot days too.The bed was comfortable with a memory foam mattress and nice pillows. So many details that were well thought out - from lots of hooks to hang your stuff to an outside light on sensor.The section of lake accessible right down at dock is wonderful for kayaking and fishing.Would highly recommend this cabin stay!"

"Perfect, quiet weekend away for my husband and I! The front porch was where we spent all our time. Very clean, anything we needed was available, and Kim was very communicative in making sure we were all set. As with many Maine camps, very steep stairs to the upstairs sleeping area but it’s well lit. Neighbors are very close but everyone was nice and welcoming. We rented a boat for the day from Merrill’s Marina half a mile away and explored the lake that way. We would definitely stay again!"

"We had a great time at Leon and Elaine's cabin. The cabin itself is well set up and we had all the essentials we needed for sleeping, cooking, and bathing. The outside space is great, we had a fire almost every night and paddled as far as we dared on the large lake which is easily accessible from multiple points on the property. Leon was very helpful with information and supplies and patiently made friends with our shy dog over the course of 6-ish days. There's some great hiking near by and a medium-sized grocery store about 20 minutes away. We would stay again."

"We were very pleased with our stay at this Schoodic Lake property. The location was relaxing & perfect…the next to the last house on a dead end road. The two neighbors on either side were not visible through the trees. Our closest neighbors were a family of bald eagles between this property & the next. Amazing! Check-in was easy. And the household amenities were definitely as described! I’ve stayed at many VRBO & AirBnb properties. Often properties describe amenities and you find the bare minimum upon arrival. Here, nothing was lacking. There were plenty of towels & beach towels, extra bedding it had been if needed, cleaning supplies and we lacked nothing in the kitchen. We had everything we needed and more. There was plenty of indoor & outdoor seating, a fire pit, a dock for boat access, a paddleboard, 2 kayaks & 2 canoes. We had a fabulous time and would recommend to anyone. Thanks for a great stay!! "
