Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room was good, the vantilation was loud. But we did not enjoy much with the swimming pool. It was so cold for toddlers
The restaurant and bar was very nice and the environment was great!
Helpful staff. Amazing breakfast. Clean rooms.
Pool - even though it was empty, you need to make bookings to use pool. Also, 6pm restriction for kids is too harsh. On holiday, kids would like to stay longer in pool - may be 7pm could help.
This is a challenging hotel for seniors due to its long walks between facilities. But
For a younger, energetic group it can be a delight with its fine fitness center and
Spa facility. The free breakfast buffet is 4 star. Surprisingly the hotel kitchen is
Sub par for such a fine lodging in the middle of a forest. Highly recommended for
Weekend getaways
Great forest location, perfect for visit to Waterloo Battlefield site. Only issue was the roadworks & linked traffic congestion at the time of our visit. Hotel amenities were good & staff were friendly & helpful.
I loved how it away from the city and the peace it has just from the outside! Amazing customer service the reception worker Francis was amazing took care of me and made everything possible for things to work out would come back there in a blink of an eye one of the best I’ve been to! Breakfast was amazing service was 10/10 no complaints
A little gem in the Belgium countryside.
I went here for a work conference and was really impressed.
Ideal for corporate events, or just a place to stay.
Everything was 1st class, from food, accommodation and service.
Beautiful area for walks and runs and great leisure facilities.
Wondeful setting, very peaceful and green, so left feeling very relaxed.
Beautiful location. Quiet comfy room. Amazing breakfast buffet - best we’ve ever had. Only downside was that I was advised the gym was open any time - went down the next morning to find it closed for refurbishment. Very disappointing.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The swimmingpool, sauna and hamam are included for hotelguest but only upon réservation and the facility is sometimes reserved for a private external organisation so closed for hotel guests
Reception staff were adequate and not as friendly and welcoming as other places. Restaurant manager and waiter plus the barmen Liam and Abdul were great and especially the Irish chef in the restaurant, he was just fantastic. Carpets in the hallway and rooms need to be replaced and it is oils feel more like a 4 star.

Not-so-good experience. Breakfast was good, dinner at the restaurant was not. There is a limit of 1 hr per person per day for pool access which is not mentioned anywhere. Some towels in the rooms were dirty. The front staff is very dry.
