Staff was courteous, housekeeping was fabulous. The restaurant was closed all weekend and room service had to be ordered from the bar if you wanted food. Weekend food was not very good bar had only one attendant who worked very hard to serve everyone.

Amazing hotel in amazing location

Location was amazing. Did not even use the metro. Also a bus from the airport stopped right beside the hotel which was very convenient. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms were beautiful, good size and comfortable.

First time visiting Brussels and this hotel was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the decor of hotel and the room. I was extremely comfortable. Walking to city center is about 15/20mins. The hotel is perfectly placed where you are close enough to the fun but not the noise. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

My son and I spent New Year’s here and even though it was freezing, and my son had a little tummy ache the staff was very kind and brought him some tea and macaroons on the house. They were so kind. The area is really great to walk. there’s plenty of shopping with high-end boutiques as well as many restaurants. It’s not far from Joe and the juice which is my favorite place as well as exkiCafé. I love the sauna is my favorite part of the hotel. We had a suite and it had a great view of the garden. It was an amazing place to spend New Year’s.

wonderful hotel

It is a lovely hotel within walking distance of restaurants and the Grand Place. We did the Dining in the Dark and it is a unique experience. Fredrick the bar tender is great and the staff as a whole was wonderful We stayed there in the middle of a 14 day trip as the information on hotels.com said they had laundry service. I even sent them an email to confirm which they did. When we checked in a Friday at 2 pm we were told there was no laundry service on the Weekend and not laundry bags in our room. A quick conversation with staff and our laundry was picked up and returned five hours later...a big help.

My husband and I traveled to Brussels to celebrate our anniversary, and we had a truly wonderful experience at the Stanhope Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and took excellent care of us throughout our two-night stay. We loved the thoughtful touches, such as the special treats available daily in the reception area for guests. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant, where the service was both professional and top-notch. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully prepared. To our delight, we were even greeted with an anniversary card and gift upon arrival—such a lovely surprise! A huge thank you to the hotel manager for making our stay extra special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
