Great place to stay

We had a fantastic weekend at this property! The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with supplies, breakfast snacks, and even fresh eggs. We loved interacting with the friendly farm animals. Communication with the owner was excellent. The location offers a peaceful, countryside feel while still being a convenient drive to Bryan and College Station.

A cozy stay

The upper level of the house where we stayed was clean, comfortable, and cozy. It was fun to visit with the chickens, kittens and baby lambs on the property. The host was friendly and helpful.

Quiet Getaway

It was a nice country farm feel. Enjoyed seeing the farm animals and being greeted by the chickens. Nice set up for a couple wanting to relax.

Cute, cozy farmhouse

Our kids had a great time feeding the chickens and sheep, they played in the yard for hours and begged not to leave. At night we all enjoyed a lovely bonfire and had s’mores. It was a beautiful weekend getaway with the family that we really enjoyed.

Great place

We enjoyed our stay of 45 days. Loads of history, many shopping opportunities. Host lives downstairs and took care of all our requests and needs very quickly. We also enjoyed the friendly animals, had a cat greet us at the kitchen window most mornings. Matthew took me fishing, which was fun. We would recommend this down home place to any and all

Great little find

I wasn’t there very much but it was just perfect! The queen bed was soooo comfortable, and could have just stayed in bed all day. My family was suppose to come but it would have been perfect for me, my husband and 2 kids.

Basketball tournament in Texas countryside

Fun, country vibe. Loved all the animals around, but wasn’t overwhelming. Place was stocked with essentials. Clean. Beds were comfy. Loved the decor inside. We enjoyed just chilling here on one of the nights of our stay. Great communication by guest when we arrived on a stormy night. Great stay.

Exactly What we needed

This little farmhouse was exactly what we needed. My family was coming to watch the A&M game, this place was close to campus but still far enough away from traffic areas. Kristen was GREAT! And Ohhhhh…THE SHEEP WERE SO CUTE!!! Great little outdoor sitting area.

2 Month Stay

My family and I stayed at this property for 2 months and we really enjoyed it. The owners were very nice and accommodating and treated us very well. The house was cozy and perfect for our family size. I enjoyed the old feel of the house because it reminded me of my grandparents house from when I was a lot younger. We recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again in the future. Our thanks go out to the owners for taking good care of us during our stay.

Sweet touch

My husband & I stayed for a football weekend. Location was close to cute little downtown Bryan with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The place was clean & cozy. Fun little place on the farm. Loved seeing the farm animals outside the kitchen window. Didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor fire pit since it was hot & humid for our stay. We appreciated the nice touch of fresh farm eggs in the fridge & filtered water. We will keep this on our list of places to stay again!

Good place to stay when visiting A&M

We stayed here during a football game weekend at A&M. Although it's not super close, it also isn't very far and is easy to get to and from campus. Quaint, fun place to stay. Well equipped. An older home but clean and comfortable. Loved having fresh eggs. Jack and Jill bathroom. Great experience . Thank you for your hospitality and for offering a reasonably priced place to stay on a weekend when all the hotels jack up their prices! That was a blessing!

Quiet location

Communication was great with the owners. The place was cute and cozy but we had a few issues to include the clicking bugs in the house, they were in the kitchen and in both bedrooms, they crawled on both my son and I and they were on the beds; I know they’re harmless but certainly uncomfortable. Also, When picking up my hair clip from the floor I noticed that there was a lot of dust and dirt under the bed in the master bedroom; it was very dirty. The lamp on the master bedroom Kept flickering It wouldn’t stay on, it didn’t feel safe. The laundry room is downstairs, definitely grateful we were able to use it but that room was extremely unkept. Overall it was ok. We did appreciate the a/c and the quick visit with the farm animals.

Disappointed

My husband & I reserve this place for 28 days. Upon arrival checking in was easy. Some may say cozy while we felt cramped in this rental. Communication with the owner most inquiry answered back in a reasonable amount of time. Due the furniture in the living room being uncomfortable and causing pain in our backs, hips & knees we had to cancel after only 5 days. Our biggest complaint was the amount we were charged for the 5 night stay $220.16 a night. Right now it is listed for $119 a night for 5 nights. Renters beware if you have to cancel, don't expect a reasonable charge. Nothing you can do, the owners was paid months in advanced. You are at their mercy.

The farmhouse is as cozy as can be. Amazing stay for the month and the owners were super helpful whenever I had any questions. Would not hesitate to recommend this stay to anyone else.
