Nice and clean room. Booked 3 tripple room with 3 ”places to sleep” in each. When I checked in I was told there is only one bed and that we had to share it or pay for extra beds. Paid 125 US dollars so that we all could sleep.
Stay aware of their hidden fees!!!!
Good location ...big room ....big toilet...currency exchange just below the hotel ....standard breakfast
Only negative was the reception staff in the morninv who was little rude
Room was big ...location was very good .....little old type but well maintained ....Air-conditioned rooms ....elevator .....currency exchenge, pizza, small grocery in the ground floor .....however , the Morning reception lady was rude....
Staff are lovely and it's conveniently located right next to a metro stop but this is a very badic hotel. Rooms are big but amenities scarce. Water pressure was virtually nonexistent and bedside lamp didn't work. The room had two safes, neither of which worked. And there were no plugs near the bed.
Room outdated and neglected, bathroom even worse, now understand why no bathroom photos. NO HOT WATER for entire 4 days stay with different reasons given. Stains in bath and basin. Failed to make bed on one morning. Balcony a health hazzard, curtains didn't fit window or close. Flicking light, drilling late at night.....was like a sketch out of Faulty Towers ..... absolutely shocking! Photos taken to validate what I've said.
I stayed here 3 nights on my stay in Bucharest and was happy with the hotel. Reception staff were friendly and allowed me an early check in. The room was clean and big with good wifi and a Belcony! The location is perfect. I would reccomend this hotel.
Large room with a nice classic feel to it. It also smells rather old, but I got used to it after a day. The toilet broke on the second day, but they were quick to fix it. Hot water was a bit inconsistent.
Was terrible experience, very old building and disaster rooms , suit that i booked was terrible bed room without AC ,furniture from 50 decay , smell of tge room terrible , bathroom was terriblevyou cant use bath chair as no space to put leg etc , no light in the room , tv 14 inch , no espresso machine , hotvwater boiler broken not in use , what to say it is a disaster experience
Great location. Nice (and large) bathroom and suite (with separate bedroom). Lots of closet space. Everything was great except that housekeeping ignored my "Do Not Disturb" sign two days in a row. The first day I was out (the room didn't need cleaning) and they did the cleaning, including replacing the towels that were hung up. The second time, I had come back to the room in the afternoon, and I was in the shower when they must have opened the door, realized I was there, and left. (I only know they came in because the door stopper I put in place was moved a couple of feet - obviously a useless door stopper).
We booked a room for 3 adults. We were supposed to get a king size bed, but instead we had a smaller queen size that couldn't accommodate all of us.
We paid about $90 per night, and were told it would cost an extra $75 per night for a rollaway bed. I told the manager that is unacceptable as we booked a room that was supposed to accommodate all 3 of us and didn't expect price to almost double for an extra bed. Apparently, this hotel is selling rooms and if you want a bed is extra...
As customer we did nothing wrong, followed the booking process, specified 3 adults, and select the room that was promised to accommodate all of us. The booking process did not specify the extra fees to expect for the need of a rollaway bed.
The manager didn't care at all for our concerns and not once apologized, showed any empathy or tried to work with us. To make matters worse, we've been a repeat customer for the last 3 years, but she didn't make any effort to work with us or offer any options. Simply didn't care if she lost a repeat customer, just wanted the money.
It's a shame, because otherwise, the hotel is pretty nice and conveniently located.
My room had no window at all and was in a bad state and the air was stinky and swampy. The hotel was overall dirty and incredibly messy (beds, bins and many other things laying everywhere). The last highlight is the breakfast: it is located at the end of a dodgy corridor in the basement. As one could expect, the breakfast was very bad as well with barely anything to choose from. Overall it was my worst experience on hotels.com.
