"We had a fire alarm go off in middle of the night. No one was at the front to receive calls. The fire department came and inspected rooms and cleared us to to go back to rooms... (apparently a guest was smoking in their room which set off alarm). Thank goodness it wasn't serious. However there was no apology or acknowledgment from the staff at check out."

"The location and gardens are amazing. The hotel is old. No coffee maker in the room, TV does not have many channels available. Elevator can only be used with a staff member, of which there are only a few."

"Everything about this little house was wonderful! We were greeted by the sound of mooing cow. We had everything we needed and more. The views were great and we loved the little town of White Salmon. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway the host was fantastic and the property was even better!"

"This is a wonderful property for a large groups. We had seven adults and four children. The 3rd floor bedroom was a great place for the kids, they enjoyed the foosball table and the arcade game. The rest of the bedrooms were nicely decorated and very clean and there were plenty of bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The kitchen was fairly well stocked and we appreciated the large dining table. There were baby gates and a pack and play for our toddler. The older kids enjoyed reading the many children’s books available as well as playing with several board games. The White Salmon River was running right behind the house and was delightful to be able to sit and watch, though a bit too high for swimming. We found that the Trout Lake Creek was a better choice for kids. The property was dark enough that we could do some good stargazing. Our host, Michael, was very responsive. We had several questions and he was always prompt in answering."
