The staff are brilliant they can’t do enough for you a couple of hiccups were dealt with very quickly and professionally the breakfast’s were very good and Louise was great at looking after us. The accommodation, food and hospitality is really good. The atmosphere created by the many local residents when the pub is open supporting the business says it all. "

"A really old pub in a remote part of the Tamar Valley AONB with lots of character. The meal that we had was excellent and there was a good selection of wines to choose from. The accommodation was also excellent and way above what we were expecting for a B&B attached to a pub. The staff were very friendly and made us really welcome. "The room was clean, warm, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite, although we couldn’t find anyone at the bar when we wanted to check in and we couldn’t find a bell. It is an old building and the stairs to our room were quite steep and narrow and quite a lot of them. They allowed us to park in the car park for the two days, although we were only staying the one night."

"My wife and I had an excellent and comfortable stay! We were greeted at the door and taken care of as we were shown to our room. Upon arrival they gave us an upgrade to a sea view which was very kind! Everything was brilliant, only slight issue was the lack of wifi & reception in our room (reception problem with the area, not the hotel itself).
