"The townhouse was pleased and welcoming. They really care about their guest. They left a snack basket, a laundry basket, a welcoming letter, toiletries (shampoo & conditioner) plus extra items. The upstairs was clean, organized and just made it feel like home. It was the first time in years we had played games as a family. So, much needed time! "Host was very welcoming. My only complaints would be that there are a few things that seemed to be missing/lacking in amenities. Low flow showers don't work well for long hair, but I was happy to have shampoo/conditioner and body wash. A few lids for pots and pans would have been nice. I also would suggest a hood vent for the stove, and maybe a fire alarm for safety. Overall great stay and easy access to surroundings."

"I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Waynesville, Fort Leonard Wood, or St. Robert area. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the property is impeccably clean. There are on-site washer and dryer facilities, an indoor pool, and complimentary breakfast, with coffee available all day. Additionally, there is ample parking. This hotel is an excellent choice for those attending military graduations. The next time I visit my parents, I will definitely stay at this hotel, as I believe it’s the best in the small town."

"I stayed at the Hawthorn Extended Stay when I visited my parents over the last 5 years, and it was a wonderful place. Unfortunately, when I returned, it was a complete disappointment. The front desk staff seemed very clueless. When I entered the building, immediately noticed that the hallways were in a terrible condition-the carpets were filthy and rolling up off the ground, and the walls were dirty. When I made it to our room, I can't even begin to describe how filthy it was. There were brown stains on the sheets and pillows, which made me very nervous about sleeping on the bed. The couch in the room was barely recognizable; it was ripped from the cushion to the armrest, looking as if it had been severely neglected. The floors were scratched up, the arm of the chair was torn, and the back support of the chair appeared to have some brown liquid spilled on it. he curtains were dirty, and the nightstand was missing a charging port that had never been repaired. There was a hole in the wall next to the breaker box. A stand-up lamp in the room was broken and couldn’t stand up straight. This room should never have been sold to guests and needs to be removed from the check-in list. I assume this is a franchised Wyndham property. The owner should be ashamed for allowing the property to deteriorate to this level. I booked an eight-day stay, but after just one night, I left and lost my money. I then booked another hotel and would like a refund for the remaining seven nights."

"The entire experience was great. Staff, room, parking, bed, breakfast, water pressure, cleanliness…all of it deserves a 10. Most importantly traveling with our two Labs…the grassy areas, the relief area and being able to go in and out several of the side doors with the room key made it all very convenient. After driving for 12 hours it was the best choice we could have made. Even the Nextdoor Mexican restaurant let us eat on the patio with our dogs, which was very nice!"

"You get what you pay for. The staff were helpful. The room I stayed in needed more deep cleaning. On a surface it looked clean but looking in you can see old dust on the curtains. The floor was so dirty like it hasn’t been mopped properly. We walked on the floor just for about 15 minutes barefoot and our feet were soo filthy. There was mold in the bathroom cealing. I had booked for 2 nights only stayed one."
