Within 5~10 minis can walk to the X’mas market which they already started 11/16.2023 Hop on hop off bus stop everywhere you can see station a very authentic Hungarian food resturant we spent a nice evening dinner walking 2 minis walking distence , friendly people here .surely when you out tours pic pocket etc., keep alert people around you , we enjoy stay in here for 2nights trip .

We had reserved a studio but it was not available so the staff more than made up for it. The hotel is on a fairly quiet street but convenient to walk and take public transit to many attractions.

The area and location of the hotel was prefect and to easy access to all area of pest and Buda side. I recommended to others the only problem was the shower drain wasn’t prefect and the shower was getting flooded. Excellent customer service. Well done the staff

Heart of Pest
The Hilton Garden Inn is conveniently located in Pest within easy walking distance of the St. Stephen's Basilica, the Opera house, Danube riverfront and the Parliament building. The rooms are clean and modern though somewhat lacking in the personality that we observed in other Budapest hotels. But they compensate with the bedding and toiletries. The breakfast is recommended with eggs cooked to order and assorted cereals, breads, pastries and meats.

Overall comfortable stay
After a rocky check in with the reception being unaware of their own offerings, I settled in to my comfortable room. Some of my amenities in the room were missing so I had to ask for the items at the front desk. I have to say the front desk staff was not friendly. Where the friendly staff were, was in the restaurant. Petra was especially kind and friendly and treated me as though I mattered as a guest. I only ate breakfast one day as the elevator was too backed up the second day, but it was a good breakfast and the woman making the omlettes was kept very busy. If you stay please make sure to double check on what comes with your reservation as both days the young lady at the front was clueless about the hotels own policies and did not know that the restaurant offered half board. As the first point of contact for guests you would expect better, especially as a Hilton points member I was not treated as though valued.

Nice hotel in centre of Budapest
Great hotel in centre of Budapest , great rooms we were in a suite on the 8th floor which come with a terrace. Breakfast was decent to . Only down fall was they did not give us a early check in with 2 young kids would have been helpful . How ever the front desk staff were very helpful and efficient. Would definitely book again

Great location helpful friendly staff most comfortable bed and pillow ever near hop on hop off bus location that can be used as daily transportation along with nearby subway stop . Close to several restaurants and shops . Definitely recommend!
