The room was tastefully furnished, quite big and very clean. The bathroom had a lovely shower and everything worked well.

Great location, lovely breakfast
Great location, basic hotel but offered everything we needed for a week in Budapest. Breakfast was great with a good range of options which changed daily. Room was clean and spacious. The only slight negatives were the hairdryer was not very powerful and the pillows a bit thin but happy to overlook given the reasonable rates charged

It is a basic hotel if thats what you are looking fir then hrs fine. Unfortunately our air con was t working in a hot room. We opened the window but then got bitten a lot by insects coming through - in autumn! They do not provide a kettle which is something ti be aware if if you like a hot drink in the morning! We had to travel in and out to get to the main spots as it was a little out of the nicer areas. It was okay, comfortable and clean.

I made the reservation through hotels.com and everything was very good. Our stay at the Ibis Hotel was excellent, we arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and left on Monday. All the staff are very friendly, good breakfast with different options for everyone. The people at the reception gave us good information, including restaurants, one was “Menza” and the other was “Barack & Szikva”. Budapest has Great public transportation (M-Blaha Lujza Ter) near the hotel and it is very easy to get around, I recommend buying the metro card for the days of your stay.

Location is convenient, room size ok, staffs are friendly, especially the staff was in the front desk when we checked out. We got 2 hour late checkout. But there is no electric water kettle in the room.

Wonderful clean city centre hotel
Wonderful spotlessly clean hotel great location , breakfast lots of selection Rooms spacious bed very comfortable extra pillows provided My only criticism was the wardrobe is ridiculously small if staying for a week also really need some drawers to put clothes in shelves in wardrobe not accessible if you hang clothes in wardrobe This room would be 5 star if it had a small fridge and a chest of drawers

Clean and tidy room. Good location, walking distance from most places. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Hairdryer awful and too hot, glad I did not have to use it longer. Did not have breakfast, cheaper options available locally. No kettle in the room, hot water available in reception, tea and coffee cost extra.

Please note based on the ibis guideline kettles are not provided in the standard 3 stars hotel at Accor. You can find this service in our 4* sister hotels. We are really sorry to hear the sweet ibis bed didn't meet your expectation. Although it was designed especially for our brand it cannot be enough good for everybody. Anyway the 8 points we received from you is still good so we do hope you like our staff and the quietness of the backside room you got. We wish you all the best!

Pretty decent hotel, good location
Fairly good hotel, very well located in the middle of the nightlife area, with plenty of good bars and restaurants right around the area. The room is fine, but shower could be better. It's a bit small, and because of that, the floor of the bathroom constantly gets well.

Perfect for our needs
The rooms were nice and adequate. Very quiet. Had air conditioning but was very hot outside so it had a hard time keeping up. The shower door leaked so we had a puddle of water on the floor. The service was great. Wonderful people at the front desk and in housekeeping. A wonderful place to stay. I would stay there again.

I usually choose Ibis because of the great location is guaranteed. And this one in Budapest wasn't different. Walking distance from the hotel to the city center and close by to lots of places to eat, little markets, and all else. Awesome!

3 night business stay
Business stay - excellent hotel - great staff, secured hotel, great breakfast, very nice and comfortable room. I always try to stay at this hotel when in Budapest for business.
