Romantic Hideaway in Center of Budapest, walking distance to most major sites

The apartment is located in the heart of downtown, but in a quiet street.
Located on the first floor of a beautifully restored old building right next street to the famous shopping street of Downtown Budapest (Vaci street, 5th district). The area has just gone through a major renovation and facelift and is now the most beautiful and up and coming area of the downtown region. Reduced auto traffic and pedestrian only streets all around. The metro stop 'Ferenciek tere' is just 200 m away.
The windows of the apartment look onto an inner romantic courtyard, providing a quiet atmosphere. Cleaned professionally before each guest.
Taxi service available upon request to and from airport (EUR 35.-)/one way.
Price includes all costs (cleaning, internet, heating, etc), there's nothing extra to be paid. The calendar is always up to date, you can book your dates right away.

Stepping out of the building you will find restaurants, wine bars, shops.
With a few minute walk you will reach the famous Central Market (Vasarcsarnok on Fovam ter), from there walk across the bridge over the Danube to reach Gellert bath all within 15 minutes. If you want to walk the other direction, you will reach the Basilica and the Opera within 15 minutes seeing beautiful buildings, shops, restaurants on the way or you can take the metro for 1 stop.

I will provide you with a 'house manual' that will make your life easier with a list of recommended restaurants and I will be personally happy to assist you on your way to explore Budapest.

I recommend this place for 2 persons who like to be where there's lots to see and yet able to retreat to a quiet hideaway after a long day of sightseeing, shopping..

Fantastic

The apartment was beautiful, our host was always in contact. Any issues that came up he was made aware of. The location is phenomenal no need to get a taxi or bus to do any sightseeing.

Budapest’s answer to a Parisian Apartment

A quaint and comfortable apartment in a charming neighbourhood. It’s well set up for a short stay, with the owner available by txt for any assistance.However, a narrow spiral staircase to the front door on first floor may suit younger clients.

Stayed for the F1 and was a great location for the metro and airport buses. Great bars and restaurants a minutes walk away. Apartment was clean and had great amenities.

Andrew the host is prompt and very courteous to make your stay in Budapest as seem less and accommodating as possible. The location of the residence is great. Close to many shops,great restaurants and a quiet area. Chose this location and you will not be disappointed

Perfect location to roam around Budapest!

Apartment was secure and just off the beaten path. It was an excellent location for sightseeing and eating. We walked all over the city and felt safe when we came back. There is also a small local bar directly across the street just in case you want one more!

Great location with everything in the room and surrounding neighborhoods

Spent 5 days and it was just perfect. The only catch is there is a winding staircase to the 1st floor room. It adds to the experience but be prepared. Room had everything you might need and the bed was comfortable.

Very quaint apartment. Great location for access to all tourist stuff. Andrew was so helpful with various requests, he was fantastic.Wish there was a balcony to sit with view, so as to have glass of wine and people watch.

very charming place to stay

The location is wonderful, very close to Ferenciak Tere, and the property owner stays in excellent communication. I found the apartment clean and comfortable, and the small kitchen had everything I needed. I would recommend this apartment to those who can manage a set of spiral stairs.

Nice flat in great location

Property is exactly as per the advert. Brilliant location in central Budapest. Walking distance to most attractions. The owner met us when we arrived which was a nice touch. Flat has everything you need, is very quiet being set off a courtyard. Very good internet connection too.

Excellent location!

The apartment was in an excellent location and the price seemed like a great value. The host was very quick communicator with great instructions for efficient check-in. Inside the apartment needs some attention. Some thorough deep cleaning (inside drawers, cabinets etc), small investment in some necessary maintenance (shower drain backs up and the entry door handle is about to fall off) and upgrading towels, pillows, shower curtain etc would have allowed a five star rating. I gave four stars because of location and it’s possible nobody has shared these issues with the host. If not resolved the apartment should be rated a three star going forward.

Perfectly located stay in Budapest

Fabulous little apartment in central Budapest. Well located to trams, shops, supermarkets, cafes/restaurants and walking distance to many sights. The apartment is small but has all the amenities to you need for a happy stay. Communication with host was very easy. Would happily recommend to family/friends and would happily stay here again. :)

The property was lovely and convenient to activities and restaurants. Going up one flight of stars with suitcases was a struggle, but that was only once. Very quiet and comfortable. Host was able to set up a cab for a 3:30 am departure. Throughly enjoyed the stay.

Romantic Hideaway in Budapest

The apartment was compact, but sufficient as you don't spend much time inside in a city like Budapest! The location was excellent. It was a bit of a struggle to get our large (river cruise) suitcases inside and up that one flight of stairs, but once inside it was sufficient. The kitchen had all you needed. Bath was compact, but we are not large people. Owner was great.

Centrally located overlooking a quiet courtyard :)

Andras could not have been more accommodating .. he went to great lengths to organise a few items I needed before I arrived 👌 The apartment was perfect as I am a light sleeper and the bedroom was quiet as the grave .. everything you might need is provided including a DeLonghi coffee machine with capsules 🤩

A Lovely flat in a GREAT location

This location is perfect for Budapest. In the middle of great restaurants and cafes, just a few hundred yards from the Metro station. There are a few stores nearby that have all you need. The owner was FANTASTIC to work with, and the check in procedure could not have been easier. They are renovating the building, so It will be even more beautiful in the future. The space was just right for us two, but any more would be a squeeze. The apartment is accessible via a spiral staircase, no problem for us, but keep in mind. I will ask to stay there again, the next time we are in Budapest.
