The receptionist, Asheni, was very friendly and helpful. She carried my bag up the stairs which was very thoughtful. Poolside cafe overlooking the beach was nice and breakfast was good. Quiet hotel.

This hotel is located inside the old fortress where a lot of tourists come on the busses to just see it as a historical points of interest while you can enjoy staying right in it! Amazing location in the center of everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved it. Parking is not available by the hotel but there is a paid by hour parking lot not far from there which costs 2 euro per hour, which was convenient enough for my case.

Excellent location, it’s in the Old Town. Staff were nice especially Michael 👍 breakfast was also good (ala carte with one cold & one hot drink). Can’t have cold+cold drink, it has to be hot+cold. Towels were changed daily and there were amenities. The TV did not work. Breakfast is 7am-11am but when we went on 7am we were told to wait 30mins as kitchen was not ready (we had to leave early for our flight). There is no beach access directly from the hotel, you have to walk on the main Old Town road to get to the beach front.

Great location. Room ok. No elevator. Had to argue to not pay for beer from the minibar that was more than a year expired. Dement breakfast at the restaurant on the ground. Terrible and loud music during daytime at the sunbeds.

What a location! Spent new years here and it was right at the heart of everything. Wonderful staff, lovely rooms and fantastic breakfast. The beach terrace was literally rocking each day with live bands in the winter sunshine… a true gem of a place

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Astoria Budva. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Old Town and steps from the beach. Our room was small but comfortable and well equipped, including bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast was very good and served in a lovely outdoor setting just outside the city walls. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. There are two things future guests should be aware of. First, there is no elevator. We had to carry our luggage up to the third floor (second floor above reception), which may be difficult for guests with mobility issues or heavy suitcases. Second, the parking situation was confusing. The hotel advertises parking, and before arrival I emailed the hotel and received detailed instructions for a parking location outside the city walls. However, when we arrived, it was simply a public parking lot where attendants had no knowledge of any hotel arrangement. At check-in, we were told the hotel does not have its own parking and that the nearest garage is about a 10-minute walk away. Despite these inconveniences, the great location, good breakfast, beach access, and helpful staff made for an enjoyable stay. I would stay here again, but I recommend guests plan ahead for parking and be prepared for the stairs.

Very well named, not deserving of it! When you see “Astoria” don’t get exited. A very old property (last remodel dates back to the 90’s or longer) by main gate. Breakfast not worth it. The problem is they don’t comprehend English! If you don’t like smoking this is the wrong country to visit! Kudos to Best Service from Vasily and the young girl at Front Desk!

Beautiful location with three areas to eat. Safe, quiet, clean. Air con worked great. Bed comfortable, staff great. Nicely appointed room. Park at the very last parking lot of town, you just have to queue until a spot becomes available. I paid 17euro for about 15:00 to 08:30

A memorable first in Budva

A truly beautiful boutique hotel. Located in the old town and right on the beach. A lovely beach front restaurant with a great selection of food and drinks. The room was absolutely stunning with views of the beach and city walls. A gorgeous rooftop restaurant with a smaller menu however still beautiful with views to die for. Go at sunset to watch the surrounding mountain change colour as the sun goes down. Just breathtaking. Highly recommend.

Location is great, it’s in the heart of the old city. The biggest challenge is getting to it. The taxi will drop you off about a half a mile away so if you have heavy luggage and or difficulty walking, this is not the place for you.

Magical stay

I only stayed for one night, but I wished I stayed longer. It’s such a nice hotel. The location is perfect, and the view from our room was amazing. We slept with the window open, listening to the sounds of the waves. Breakfast choices were limited, but it was good. We had dinner there also, it was excellent, and the dessert was the best part of it

Have a nice beach, located fairly convenient to the parking outside of old city walls. No elevator so be ready to lift up your bags a few floors up. Nothing fancy in the rooms, moderate noise considering you're in old town.

Nice and modern hotel in a perfect location right near the water. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was amazing! One suggestion/helpful tip for anyone booking is regarding the parking. One of the main reasons my husband and I booked this hotel was because it said on the hotels property information that there is self parking onsite for 15 euro per day. This is wrong and false information - the front desk girl told us that this quote is for stays over 2 nights only. This really should be rewritten to include this as we stayed one night and paid 40 euro in the lot. If we had known this we would have definitely booked elsewhere as there were cheaper parking options.
