Hotel was very clean and all the staff are very polite. The spa is amazing and is a must! The pool area is very clean and enough sun loungers, the infinity pool with the views was stunning. The breakfast was also good with lots of variety. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely come back to this hotel.

A nice welcome to Budva
A lovely, new hotel with large, beautifully decorated rooms. Front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. Top floor pool and restaurant are nice. The hotel is on a busy street, so sitting on the balcony was not suitable, but with the doors closed, there is no noise.

The hotel was nice nothing exceptional, the breakfast buffet had a nice assortment of food, the rooftop pool was nice. The location was not the best. A big negative was that 2 days in a row we did not have water around dinner time in our room.

Lovely rooms and bathrooms. Comfy beds and pillows, nice large shower. Aircon a little noisy but to be expected. Balcony chairs not the comfiest. Pool area clean and well maintained. Good options for breakfast and helpful staff throughout the Hotel. Would recommend

We were upgrade to a junior suite which was fantastic. The hotel rooftop bar service is great, lovely pool up there too. The sunbeds aren’t the most comfortable but are decent enough. The hotel gym was a bit disappointing. Overall through it was a really great stay, lovely hotel where you can easily walk down to the beach and to the old town.

Had the most wonderful time. Rooms are a great size and very clean. The staff were super throughout and went the extra mile for my girlfriends birthday. The gym could be better, but it has a an amazing rooftop pool with incredible views. We had breakfast included which is buffet style and again couldn’t fault it. Would definitely stay again!

Our room wasn’t complete when we arrived. Housekeeping forgot to put water, shower cap, and the usual amenities, refrigerator was hot inside, noisy a/c, no tissue paper. Definitely not a 5 star hotel.

Nice hotel, issue with cooling/heating system
Great service, friendly staff, good location. We booked a king bed and got 2 twins put together with individual sheets, not great. Central A/C-Heater, so you can’t change the temperature in your room. Overall was good, but they should invest in modernizing cooling/heating infrastructure.

Although located outside the heart of Budva, if you don't mind walking, its a lovely walk along the seafront to Old Town and the centre, and close to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But it was my room which was amazing, it was huge and very comfortable. Despite being on the main road it was quite, and the pool area was good too, great views.

Wonderful hotel, luxurious decorations, very attentive staff, excellent breakfast, spacious rooms, very clean, beautiful roof top with pool and restaurant/bar, good spa services, free parking, 2 minutes drive to the old city. The only downside (and it's really minor regarding to our great experience): the room and fitness amenities were lack- tissue, shower cap, vanity kit, refill of the cofee starion at the room, and towels wet eipes and water in the fitness center were missing.

This was one of the best Iberostar experiences we have had so far. This is not a resort but a hotel but very self contained with a fantastic rooftop swimming pool with breathtaking views and a great bar cafe. The hotel staff were friendly and really helpful. Exceptional service from Sava & Jelena. Breakfast was great, good selection and variety we weren’t bored (stayed 7 days) and neither were we overwhelmed with too many choices and didn’t see a lot of wastage which you do at some of these luxury hotels. Supermarket attached to the hotel for convenience. Pharmacy two mins walk away. Overall stay was very good and we would recommend this place to anyone. We were a family of three ladies - I was travelling with my mum (70years old) and my daughter (7 years old) we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Iberostar slavija for welcoming us and making our stay for amazing!

Andrea the Hotel Director and her team provided a superb service. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was perfect.The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are large and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The rooms appeared to be sound proofed as we did not hear any noise. The pool is AMAZING!The photos do not do it justice.The roof top bar & staff provided a great service.Plus points were the breakfast, great selection & the location. We were sad to leave, but for sure we will be back!

Beautiful hotel!
Had such an amazing stay here. Everyone was super friendly, the rooftop pool was stunning and completely empty whenever we went! Breakfast had a vast range and rooms were huge! We can’t wait to come again. Shout out to George the lovely concierge who greeted us everyday at breakfast and helped us book a taxi back to the airport, he was so friendly and a great artist!

Iberostar is to good to be ruined by this.
Iberostar is a big name to be ruined from unprofessional people at the front desk. Very saddened people, the manager obviously totally not professional, during check in I let them know about a change, I brought another person with me so the room can fit two people because it was the same as one, and I was prepared for a price + just for the breakfast. The guy in front desk was very polite and he gave me a reasonable price, but when she came and heard that, she started speaking their language and after a minute he tells me he made a mistake and charged me 3x the price, in which I was not explained how come. Spa and gym was ridiculous, they kept lying for steam room by saying will be alright tomorrow and tomorrow after tomorrow never got okay. One thing about front desk, they’re are very good people but it seems they are a bit frustrated and stressed.

NOT A 5 star hotel at all
The hotel is nice, however the TERRIBLE service makes it a bad hotel and to a pleasant stay. Breakfast is bad and service there is worst: First day I ordered some eggs but the guy of the cuisine was having a chat with waiters so he didn’t do my breakfast, I had to go and ask him. He did it but it was super greasy. Second day the buffet was not available or at least not the warm food, when asked the waiter about it he said he didn’t know and that I should speak with the people from the kitchen, they cook only some stuff. Gym is open since 9am but breakfast is until 10:30am so or you do exercise or you have breakfast. It was raining so we couldn’t stay in the terrace, we went to a working room in the first floor, however a girl told us we couldn’t sit there because the manager was in a meeting, only until the manager saw what was happening helped us. The hotel has a TERRIBLE SERVICE people are not polite, don’t respect the customer and don’t care about it.

This is by far the best hotel in Budva! The people that work here are amazing and extremely friendly. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The breakfast is great. The rooftop pool is stunning. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to come back!

We loved staying at Iberostar. Friendly staff, clean and updated rooms (shower didn't drain well, but we told the staff about that as it happens!), nice gym and pool amenities. Wifi could be stronger on the roof as we were working the whole time and would've loved to work up there more reliably. Bar staff on the roof was very nice!

Mixed feelings , mostly disappointing
I am giving this hotel 2 stars out of 5, one for the infinity rooftop pool and one for the bathroom which had wet room with rainfall showerhead. The rest of the hotel cannot hide its origin from Communistic times. The staff has a long way to go to get to a sophisticated level. I would settle for the personality and finesse of a Starbucks barista for now. It was not very welcoming to international travelers but more attractive to local customers. To put it short; "rough" is the best word. The city of Budva has no character. The beach situated across the street, was dirty and smelly from food vendors on site. We were coming back from Croatia and decided to stay here, but the difference to Montenegro is very obvious, with Croatia being pretty much perfect and well taken care of. After spending a full day in Montenegro, I could not stop asking myself how were these guys approved even to join EU? Depending on your taste and standards, do avoid this hotel on your next trip to Balkans.
