Disappointing host but great location
We paid the host extra for early check-in at 6am on the day of our arrival. The email with the check-in instructions came during our flight but it was blank for the door code and apartment number. No one answered our texts until well after 9am so we had to sit on the floor in the hallway for over 3 hours until we were told how to check-in. The room was then different than the one I was sent. The security guard in the building was amazing and super kind while we sat downstairs at least. After getting into the room, we tried to use the safe but it locked and our combo and the reset combos were not working. The host also did not have the proper key and made us pay the $35USD to open the safe even though they admitted it was broken in a text to us. We lost our entire first day of three in the city after the check-in chaos and waiting for the locksmith until 10pm. After requesting a refund of the early check-in, to make up for the delays and the safe, we were ignored and will now have to take it up with our credit card company and VRBO. The pool was also disgusting and I would really recommend not getting in and the rooftop closes well before sunset.
