"The facility is fairly new and very clean. The rooms are basic but adequate and comfortable. Check in was easy and the attendant was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was convenient and there was something for everyone. I especially enjoyed the coffee which was very good quality with several choices."

"The property is a fascinating re-purposing of a former psychiactric hospital. The hotel was in a gothic (?) type building with two imposing towers containing the guest rooms. The hotel entrance had a modern glass enclosure leading from the street level up to the checkin desk. The interior was completely re-modeled with modern furniture and art pieces. Impressively large photo reproductions of the original buildings and of the Western New York area and history were hung everywhere. Each photo deserved examination. At the lower level was a museum describing the hospital/hotel history graphically and via video media. Our room was novel and freshly designed and fitted up. The staff and bar were wonderful. The breakfast service was a bit disorganized; the combination of newly hired staff and a new managment structure and menu caused issues. We did get to eat there once, and the food was excellent."
