Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was dismayed to learn that despite having a confirmed reservation, there were no available rooms for me. Instead, I was directed to a substitute hotel nearby, which fell drastically short of the standard I had anticipated. Throughout my stay at the alternative accommodation, I encountered numerous challenges that greatly affected my experience. Firstly, the room was infested with mosquitoes, resulting in a sleepless night as I was constantly bitten and unable to find respite. Additionally, the bathroom had noisy fans, further exacerbating my difficulty in getting any rest. Furthermore, I was surprised to discover additional charges for coffee during breakfast and repeated requests to pay a city tax higher than what was originally indicated in my booking. As a loyal customer of Expedia, I have always trusted in the reliability and quality of your services. However, my recent experience with Hotel Old Bukhara has left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied.

Brother, why did you go too far, we explained to you that the guest who lived in your room got sick and they could not leave the room. We even made a big discount. And about the mosquitoes, you left the window and door open all night even though the air conditioner was on. And as for the coffee, we give it to the cafe for free and as much as you want, but I ordered a cappuccino separately, brother, it’s paid everywhere. You are not fair to us, we gave you a 4 star hotel. Thank you for everything brother. Although you were happy when you left.

We were a family with teenagers visiting from UK. We were very impressed with the Old Bukhara hotel and found it to be one of the best we have stayed on our travels in Uzbekistan. It is spotless and the rooms lovely with good quality bedding etc. The traditional uzbek breakfast was the best we have had too. Staff and management were really accomodating and very helpful. We recommend!!

This is a wonderful place from which to explore Bukhara. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the room was perfect. I particularly liked the chance to walk out of the door straight into an Old Bukhara mahalla. Highly recommended!

Great hotel in the old town
Great hotel located in the old town. Rooms are spacious with spectacular views. Breakfast was excellent and varied each day. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I’d have no hesitation recommending this hotel

I booked this hotel months in advance. Arranged a taxi from the train station with them, when the taxi took me to another hotel I was confused (despite his pick up sign saying Hotel Old Bulkhara). This different hotel told me old bukkara was closed and I was moved there. We were emailing just days before and they mentioned nothing about a hotel move. Ironically later I met tourists who were staying at Old Bukhara, which in fact was not closed. I also had booked with Old Bukhara well before them, yet was "kicked out" to this other hotel. The replacement hotel was a similar quality and similar location, I give a bad review because of how unprofessional that is to give no warning, even as we were emailing just days before. And no appology at all from replacement hotel. I am a seasoned traveler, but if I was an older tourist (as uzbekistan seems to have a lot of ) id feel "kidnapped" by a cab taking me to a different hotel with no warning, and also angered to be taken to a hotel I did not book.

We could not have met you and simply announced your reservation, but we didn’t do that. Why are you so rude to leave a bad review? it's not so beautiful. Although we did everything for you, we provided you with luxury rooms. That's not good, sir.

Homely Place 200m Away From The Action
Room was as described so if you want an authentic local experience , I would definitely recommend this hotel. The owner Murad is also very helpful and polite. The centre of old bukhara is about 200m walk away, exit the hotel and turn LEFT and just walk. You will come out to the centre, just follow the mosque domes. Murad also offers a courtesy taxi pickup for about $5 or 50,000 Somme at time of writing this, I would recommend you take it, makes it so much easier.

I just returned from a two-week trip to Uzbekistan, where I stayed at a handful of hotels. The Hotel Old Bukhara was the best. The room was very clean and the hotel's courtyard was nice. The family who owns it was also friendly. They were the only ones during my trip who arranged a driver to pick me up at a reasonable price for a tourist. They didn't overcharge like other hotels will do. The hotel is in a great location down an alley from the main attractions. It takes only a couple minutes to walk to the Kalan mosque and trading domes but you don't feel like you are staying in a busy, touristy area. The hotel provided the best breakfast I had on my trip. It was so large that I usually skipped lunch. Lastly, I slept well during the few nights I stayed at the hotel. I've had bad experiences with noise in American hotels and was pleasantly surprised with the Hotel Old Bukhara, especially because it seems like an older, historic building. I'd be happy to stay there again.

This assessment is not fair. The guest booked 2 triple rooms, but in fact they checked in three guests. This is the first, second: the guests checked in early in the morning, although check-in is after 14:00. I told them earlier that for an early check-in you need to pay another half a day, and even more so, they wanted to have breakfast and we gave them a hearty breakfast. In the end, at the time of entry, he did not want to pay for half a day (which breakfast is not included), but we asked him to pay for half a day. And after all this, he paid for a quarter of a day, and even then he was not satisfied. I think he's wrong about the grade.

The accommodation is cosy and decorated in national style. Hosts are extremely friendly. Breakfasts are among the best that I ever had in hotels.

Hotel is perfectly located, just in a minute walk to the Kalon Minaret. Easy walk to the Ark and other wonders, at the same time it is located in the local neighborhood, bit away from posh hotels, so feels more relaxed and authentic. Very welcoming owners who can help with arranging a ride or just advise on good local pleaces to eat. Room was clean, bathroom is new and clean as well, all what was needed was there. We enjoyed our stay.

Honestly, this place is the BEST hotel in Bukhara!
The warmth you feel as soon as you come to Hotel Old Bukhara is something extraordinary and is really special. You honestly feel like you're being taken care of by close family friends. The owner and his family are all so sweet and extremely helpful, ready to help you with anything you might ask for during your stay. I can't even tell you how many times we were offered tea or coffee (morning, afternoon, evening, every time we came back to the hotel from wandering around!!) - it was extremely pleasant and comforting. Take that special hospitality experience with fast wi-fi, beautiful courtyard, great breakfast, one of the best locations in Bukhara, walkable to all the sites, with the beautiful Mir-e-Arab, Kalon mosque and tower, the Ark (and countless other sites) literally steps away. Murad, the friendly and hospitable owner, even helped us set up a taxi for 3am when we needed to catch a very early train to Khiva for a much better rate than we could get from trying to bargain ourselves. Everything went so smooth and we had our best stay in Uzbekistan here, at the Old Bukhara. On top of all of that, the whole hotel is NEW and is SPOTLESS and tastefully decorated. Everything was clean and fresh, it was just perfect. I wouldn't think twice to come back here - it made our friends vacation more special and we are grateful!

Great experience
Great experience. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They also hosted us a great breakfast in the morning. The room is not extremely large but it is comfortable, especially for its price. The hotel is also conveniently located at the places of interest such as the Mir-Arab Madrasasi. Overall a great experience. Would recommend this hotel to my friends if they are interested to travel to Bukhara.

Very clean, good location
The hotel is new and clean (literally, spotless!) Friendly owners, eager to help. Excellent location just 5 minutes to the main square with madrassas. Reasonable prices for taxi service (taxi taken at the train station had problems to find the location and actually charged more than the hotel).

立地が非常によかった。 2階の部屋だったが荷物を運んでくれたりとスタッフは感じよかった。英語が堪能。部屋は最初ちょっと下水の臭いが気になったのと、周りに音が丸聞こえなのでイヤフォンをするなど音漏れに気をつける必要があった。レギストラーツィアはオンラインで申請されているらしく紙でもらうことができなかった。空港でパスポートを見せると確認してもらえると言われた。チェックアウト時にTAXを払う必要があった。

ブハラのハイライトであるカラーンモスクやカラーンミナレットまで歩いて2分です。近くにレストランが豊富にあるわけではないので、食事に関して言えば少し歩かなければなりませんが、旧市街を抜けてお店を探すのも乙なものだと思います。女将さんが付かず離れずで色々と気にかけてくれて安心して滞在できました。英語がすごくうまいので意志の疎通には全く苦労しません。ハマムの予約や洗濯など色んなお願いも聞いてもらえました。部屋にはバスタブもあり、この長旅で久々に湯船に浸かることができたのは嬉しかったです。

Over-rated and over-priced place.
My room was small with super ultra small bath-room as I ever seen. There was no kettle or fridge in my room. I found this place an over-rated and over-priced place. Never need to go there and never suggest to any of my friends.

The view is breathtaking and the breakfast is splendid! The location is very nice as it is located at the center of all the ancient tourist attractions. It takes only two minutes to the nearest famous mosque.

Otel Aslında yer olarak oldukça uygun ve güzel bir yerde fakat arabayla ulaşım için biraz güçlük var çünkü çok dar olan ara sokaklardan gidilebiliyor. Biz Oteli navigasyonla bulamadık. Navigasyon Başka bir otelle karıştırdı. En son Oteli aradık sağ olsun Otel görevlisi kendi arabasıyla gelerek Bizi Aldı. Biz de onu takip ederek ancak Oteli bulabildik.Otel Gerçekten çok güzel otantik ve çalışanları güleryüzlü ve yardımsever. Kahvaltı da çok güzel. Konforu da gayet iyi. Kredi karti kabul edilmiyor. Turistik yerlere cok yakin. Cogu yere yayan rahatca ulasabildik. Oneririm.

快適です。
出来て間もないようで、部屋は清潔でバスタブもあり、お湯もきちんと出るし水量も満足。快適でした。中心地から離れているためとても静かです。 ラビハウズからは徒歩約10分強。新市街のスーパーまでも歩いて10分くらいで行けます。 スタッフの方々はとれも親切で、いつも何かないか気にかけてくれるし、頼み事をしたときは一生懸命対応してくれます。 おいしい朝ごはんも、昼食がいらないくらい盛りだくさんでした。
