"Very cute and sweet stay out of the main area, loved the set up! Weda and Eka were amazing - beautifully cooked fresh food, packed a takeaway breakfast for an early morning dolphin swim, shuttle into town for free, the best home made kombucha I've ever tried and discounts on local eateries. Sadly, no hot water the whole time we were there. I raised it but it wasn't fixed and despite paying an extra person charge when booking, we were then charged again but still no water issues fixed. Funny how...

"I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new and comfortable accomodation. The place is ran by a loving family, who goes above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasent stay. They helped us book tours, gave us names of great local eats, and even allowed us to check out at 4pm so that we would have enough time to visit one more waterfall, come back to the hotel and shower before leaving. "

"We absolutely LOVED our stay and experience. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The elephants were well cared for and seemed very happy. They were purring and very affectionate towards the workers. One elephant was scared by a cat and they chased off the cat and reassures the elephant so kindly."

"Pros - Gorgeous setting in a pretty garden with a lovely pool. Very peaceful with no traffic noise - great for light sleepers. If you need to head out sightseeing before breakfast time, they can provide a breakfast box. Our balcony was spacious and came with a drying rack which came in really handy. Staff are helpful. The bed only has sheets but if you request a blanket they provide one straight away. And it’s just a minute’s walk to the beach, and surrounded by cafes, laundry services and beauty therapy spas. Cons - We booked a standard twin room on Expedia 11 months in advance, and although the booking conditions stated a twin room wasn’t guaranteed, we were disappointed that with such a long booking period the hotel didn’t have any twins available. I tried to get a rollaway bed instead, as the Expedia advertisement said the room came with rollaway/extra beds for free, but the hotel said there was a charge for them. The Expedia ad also said the room had a minibar and electric kettle, but it did not. I don’t know if this is Expedia’s error or the hotel’s, but I mention it so people who do need a minibar, kettle or rollaway bed have realistic expectations. There was also a small hole in the door to the balcony which I stuffed with toilet paper so mosquitos couldn’t get in - that worked well, so if you get the same room as us you should try that."

"Look no further The Lovina is the place to stay for genuine hospitality and an experience you will carry home with you. The service was exceptional, but it was the people who made our stay unforgettable. Efa deserves special recognition. The warmth, patience, and genuine care Efa showed us made us feel truly valued, never like just another reservation. Efa was one of the biggest reasons this trip meant so much to us. Efa and Indra did far more than drive us around Bali. They shared their stories, answered our countless questions, and taught us about Balinese culture, religion, traditions, and everyday life. They helped us understand their home rather than simply see it. Those conversations turned a beautiful holiday into something deeply meaningful. I genuinely feel I grew as a person through this experience. Thank you also to Boy, Buda, Eddy, and the kitchen team for helping make our stay so special. Lovina will always have a place in my heart, and The Lovina is somewhere I want to return to again and again—not only for the destination, but for the people and how they made us feel. To anyone still comparing hotels: stop looking. For us, The Lovina was more than a place to stay; it became one of the most memorable parts of Bali. Efa and Indra, thank you for making that possible."

"Our stay at Padma Resort Ubud was exceptional, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia. One of the biggest standouts was the food. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered probably the best diversity of cuisines I have experienced at any hotel in the world. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Fire & Feast experience, which included an incredible platter with five different proteins, sides, sauces, soup, salad, and gelato. There is also so much to do within the resort. We enjoyed the hike to the bamboo bridge, and the hotel offers numerous complimentary activities, including archery, golf, animal feeding, and fishing. The swimming pool and fitness center were also excellent, and I appreciated being able to maintain my daily exercise routine. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was kind, friendly, and hospitable, and we appreciated the welcome drinks upon arrival. The location is also convenient for exploring Ubud and the surrounding attractions. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and feel this resort deserves even more recognition. With stronger marketing, I think Padma Resort Ubud could easily become an even more well-known destination. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Gardens and pool were beautifully kept. Staff always friendly and attentive. The suite we had was very roomy and comfortable. Bed pillows were very hard we had difficulty sleeping. Beach towels were showing wear as they were fraying around edges. Ants in the food areas as well as on the carpet in rooms, needs to be fumigated. Good property overall"

"We had two oceanfront rooms with a connecting interior door. We were delighted. It's a unique property. It features indoor and totally private outdoor showers. We used the outdoor showers exclusively. The entire staff is remarkably friendly and helpful Housekeeping was outstanding. Front Desk was a model of service and hospitality. Local transportation arranged by the Front Desk was excellent. Our driver couldn't have been more helpful and good taking us to where we wanted or needed to go. We ate every breakfast and dinner on property during our 3 night stay, and we never regretted it."
