"The apartment we rented had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. There were dirty linens, dirty handprints on doors and light switches, and when we stripped the bed linens prior to checkout there was a blood stain on the pillow. Yuck!"

"We really liked the pool and appreciated they stayed open the additional half and hour. The whole building was extremely clean and welcoming. We like the added security of the key in the elevator. The only problem we encountered was paying to park. We had no idea we would need the additional $70 to park for a 2 night stay. "

"This beautifully updated house was a perfect location for our weekend of wedding events in and around the Oakland area. The 4 bedrooms were all spacious and the baths stocked with thoughtful amenities. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. As others have mentioned, the house is on quite a steeply sloping cobblestone street, but you forget about that once you are inside!! The area is an older one and seems to be mostly student-type housing for the multiple universities within walking distance, but parking was always available out front. Overall, a great experience!"
