Beautiful Waterfront Home On Lake Anna

Come enjoy this beautiful waterfront retreat located in a quiet cove on the private side of Lake Anna! This 3,510 square foot home was built in 2016 and offers 6 bedrooms and 4 full baths. Spend your days relaxing at the water’s edge on the patio or the spacious, private dock. The cove location allows you to swim and float in peace without the worry of boats or wakes. This spacious home boasts an open floor plan on the main level with a large, fully-equipped kitchen including a double oven and an enormous island that seats 6 and a great room offering three large sofas surrounding a gas fireplace and 65” television. The top floor offers 4 bedrooms, including 1 master suite overlooking the lake. The walkout basement is a perfect place for the kids which provides a bunk room with a 55” television, full bath, wet bar, full-size refrigerator, games, fusball, and an entertainment area with 3 large sofas and a 65” television. We welcome you to bring your family and create new vacation memories that will last a lifetime!

Perfect Lake Getaway

This was the perfect house for our large family. The owner was great to communicate with and had the house well stocked (dishes, utensils, pots and pans etc) and clean. The beds were so comfortable and the dock was amazing. Our group caught a ton of bass too! Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home and we hope to be back again soon!

Memories

My mother turned 79 while we were there she said it could have been her best birthday ever. We had some extended family and the weekend turned out to be wonderful. The owner was quick to respond to our questions. The kids loved the kayaks. A wonderful time at Lake Anna.

Great house especially with little ones

The water is awesome...Love that it is shallow for a large part of the area so the little ones can play in the water. Also, being at the end of the cove makes any wakes pretty much nonexistent. The inside has foosball, ping pong and games which were great, since we had multiple days of rain. Communication was very easy and I had responses to any questions quickly.

Guys fishing trip Lake Anna

This was the second consecutive year we have booked this house for our annual guys fishing trip. This house has everything the five of us need. Plenty of space and very comfortable accommodations. We especially like having a very close boat launch and a nice dock for our boats. The house is very clean and it fits our needs perfectly. We hope to be able to come back for a third year. Dan H

Perfect

The house was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The kayaks and water toys were perfect and our kids spent hours in the water. The end of the cove is excellent for kids to swim and play without the worry of boat traffic. The house has everything you may need to be comfortable and the kitchen is fabulous! It was perfect in everyway for our family vacation. If I could change thing, it would be that the water temp wasn't 94 degrees and above at spots. This has no reflection on the house however, it is a circumstance of the private side of Lake Anna. Hope to come back sometime!

Absolutely perfect lake home

We had a fantastic experience on the warm side of Lake Anna in this spacious and well appointed home. Lots of bedrooms (bunk room has 6! Queen sized beds) and bathrooms (4) to help us be comfortable with two living rooms- downstairs for the kids with ping pong, fooseball and a great tv for movie watching, upstairs has a gas fireplace and TV for the grown ups. Plenty of kitchen space and absolutely everything you could want for dishware and cooking- including a crockpot! Easy to find and lots of lake toys and land toys to boot! Enjoyed the fire pit at night- bring your own firewood. Thanks for a great stay with excellent WiFi, peace and fun!

Perfect family weekend

My fiancé and I joined my daughters and their husbands, my grandchildren (ages 5 and 8) and my mother (88) for a birthday/Mother’s Day weekend in May. The fishing was excellent and the kayaks were such a treat! The lake was very quiet and we had the protected cove virtually to ourselves. Easy access to the water was especially appreciated. We also loved the ping pong table! The kitchen was massive and the house easily accommodated our group of 9. We rented a pontoon for a day from Mobile Water Sports; they delivered and picked up the boat and were great to work with. The host was very easy to contact as well. Highly recommend.

Would return to Bumpass!

House is very nice. The house instructions were thorough and clear. The host was responsive when we had a question. Probably one of the nicest places we've stayed so far (yearly get together). We really enjoyed staying there. It was great that there kayaks and canoes and life jackets for us to use. The washing machine and dryer with ample laundry tabs since was a bonus as one of us got wet after kayaking. It was nice not to take wet clothes home! The dishwasher cleaned really well. We liked the layout of the living room. We had lots of space for playing games, crafting, eating, and lounging. We liked the big table and the gas fireplace. The fire pit down by the lake was terrific. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with cooking and tableware, including kid dishes. No spices or cooking oil, bring everything you might need as well as TP. The beds were very soft, too soft for our group. Very thin and did not provide support. The house is next to a road and you can see the road from the backyard. In the fall there were very few cars on the road, might be a different story in summer.

We’ve stayed here twice and will be back again. Easy, shallow entry to the lake for the young’uns, well-equipped kitchen for the cooks, lots of entertainment and outdoor activity options, lightly traveled roads for two bikers.

3rd Stay!

This was my third time at this property. My family had a great time each year, but this time there was constant construction noise from 2 neighboring properties and the house is in need of an inside paint job due to some wall damage. Nothing serious, wear and tear, but lots of dings. However, we enjoyed the new couches. The kitchen is wonderful, with a LOT of dishes, glasses and cooking supplies. Having 4 full bathrooms is a luxury and there are plenty of towels. The lake water was 97 degrees! We saw large fish jumping every day, but only caught bluegills. We'd definitely like to return.

Lake Vacation

We had a great time even thought the first few days were rainy. We made the best of it and enjoyed every minute. I'm never disappointed when I spend quality time with my children and grandchildren. Made ots of memories. Priceless.

Celebrating graduation!!!

We rented the house for our daughters graduation from UVA. The house was wonderful. Very clean!!!! The set up of the house was great for a large gathering. The kayaks were used a lot. The water was a great temperature and very enjoyable even in mid May. Game room was a plus. Would recommend 100%!!!!!

Snowy weekend with friends and family

This house was the perfect spot for our outing with friends and family. Very spacious with plenty of room for everybody! During our stay there was a slight issue, but the owner addressed it promptly and professionally, offering a partial refund as a resolution. We appreciated their responsiveness and commitment to guest satisfaction so much that I couldn’t bring myself to review it for anything below 5 stars. We’ll be going back to this house in the future, most definitely!

great vacation

Very nice house . Perfect quiet lake location, private,easy to keep an eye on the kids. Everyone enjoyed fishing(lots of fish) kayaks,canoeing and swimming. Plenty of room on property for outdoor activities. Owner very easy to work with. House set up is very comfortable . Plenty of room for the whole family to spend time together and nice that bedrooms were away from living area for those early to bed people/kids.

Annual fishing trip.

Second year in a row that we’ve used this house for our annual bass fishing kick off weekend. Place is perfect. As long as the place is available we won’t ever stay anywhere else. Thanks again.
