Nice experience staying in a guest room with its own entrance. Owner was very helpful. Good mattress. It’s not a B&B but has that feel. Not far from lots of shopping and restaurants. Parking was tight.

We stayed in the suite and were extremely pleased with our accommodations! Everything was spacious, well stocked, and clean. And if you’re into rock ‘n’ roll history, the suite is like a mini museum with tons of interesting picture/posters – just asked Bill and he’ll give you some great stories! The guest house is just a few minutes walk from town, so very convenient. We highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. Bill was very accommodating even when our flight was delayed and we showed up close to midnight. He gave us several recommendations for exploring, which was very appreciated. The room was lovely and even had snacks and a water machine for us to enjoy. I would highly recommend staying here.

The house and property was beautiful and very clean. Check in was easy. The fridge was nicely stocked with drinks and local cheese. I would highly recommend this place and maybe we will go back in the future.

Very cute place, highly recommended

I spent last weekend in the "Superior single room lake view." I'm a woman in her 30s traveling solo - in town for a wedding. The owner is very nice and welcoming (gave me a map and restaurant recommendations) and I felt safe walking to and from downtown Burlington from this location. Parking out front was easy. It was also easy to locate (an adorable pink Victorian house). My room was pretty, clean, spacious, and comfortable! It was a warm weekend and I liked that the room had both ac and a fan (I didn't need ac overnight). The room had plenty of easy access outlets to charge all my things and the wifi was stable with no issues logging on. It also had lots of clean towels, a hairdryer, access to an iron, and plenty of space to hang my dresses and coats. Beverages/coffee/snacks and light breakfast were available on the 2nd floor landing which was much appreciated! My only teeny tiny word to the wise is that there wasn't conditioner (I really liked the other soap/bath products though), so be sure to bring that if it's in your routine - I just picked some up at a nearby cvs. Also the water pressure in the shower was a bit low. Not a huge deal though. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come again! Thank you!

We did not enjoy our stay at this guest house and ultimately left one night early. Our “superior lakeview suite” did not have any view of a lake, but the neighbors house and the street view. I’m unsure how they have been able to get away with calling this bedroom a “lakeview” and i’m even more confused by other reviews saying how beautiful the view was. There was literally not a lake to be viewed but the room is in fact in the direction of Lake Champlain. The court yard was rather eclectic and very pretty at night with the string lights and lush scenery but during the day the backyard had dog toys and children toys around the property which was an eyesore to my partner and i. One of our biggest issues with the property was that the owners seem to have a dog, which in their hotel description on Expedia says it is a pet free establishment. Unfortunately I am allergic and this was an issue for me. The vermont health department says if there is an animal present on property the owners have to alert their guests in bold print. Finally, they do not serve breakfast but a dry buffet of granola, a fridge stocked with yogurt and cheese and a Keurig - no hot coffee. This Inn was more like an Airbnb with a private room to sleep. I personally did not think this was an appropriate listing for Expedia and for the $705 price tag I left very unhappy. Expedia tried to get me a refund but the Owner Cyndie refused and did not agree with my feedback.
