Our home is the perfect Lake, Foliage, Honeymoon/Romantic, Ski, Spring & Fishing Escape! Amazing 250' prime Lake Champlain waterfront luxurious with great swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, skiing and close to everything you might want to get out and explore from foliage to apple picking, cider making, Ben & Jerry's Factory tour and lots of great festivals, events and amenities. Hardwood floors and tile on the first floor and tile and brand new Berber on the second floor. Private deck off the master bedroom overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondack mountains with amazing sunsets almost every night. Master bath with Jacuzzi tub overlooking the lake and mountains, 5 skylights, gas insert wood stove, all new appliances and custom cherry cabinets & granite counters throughout. Also a brand new double access deck off the first floor grand room and sun room overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. Full recreation room w/pool, ping pong, slide hockey and darts! Absolute relaxation!
This property was perfect for our couple's getaway, with our pup! The home is beautiful and you can't beat the gorgeous lakeside views! Barb was so helpful with everything and very communicative. She had lots of great suggestions for our visit. The location is a cute, little town that is close to many sights. We had all the comforts of home and were able to decompress! Hope to return again someday soon!

Enjoyed our stay and the beautiful location!
The house and property were just as advertised and the views from both floors were non-stop beautiful. Our dog loved the lapping of the water right at the end of the hill. It would be even more fun in the summer, I'm sure. The ping pong and pool tables in the basement were a lot of fun on a dreary day. Thank you Barb!

Lovely quiet spot
Barb was great in being flexible about our arrival time because of the road conditions slowing us down. She was there waiting for us to extend her welcoming hospitality. We arrived after dark in a snowstorm. It was lovely to wake up in the morning and see the beautiful view first thing. Barb is very attentive to communication and thorough in the information she gives. It was a great quiet place for my husband and I to spend a couple of days celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. We also enjoyed the game room downstairs for some fun, friendly competition! Of note - there was dog hair in the home (probably from a previous guest), so if you are allergic or have issues with that it wouldn't be the place for you. And if going in the winter, AWD is advisable.

Perfect!
My wife and I loved our time at Barb's house in Vermont! The house was very clean and has literally anything and everything you would need for your time there. My wife and I bring a lot of our own things to use just in case, but we could have left it all behind. The house was incredibly private and secluded, especially when hanging out on the deck outside. Our dogs loved it too! The lake was clean and great for swimming. The only negative thing was the crazy amount of mosquitoes, but it had been a very rainy summer by all accounts. Obviously this isn't anyone's fault, but when the wind was still, sitting outside was tough. The lake frontage is huge and very private and tons of kayaks, canoes, paddles, etc are supplied. Getting in and out of the lake was very easy - gentle slope and rocks to walk on. There are some flat rocks on the lake front as well, so its easy to hang out down on the lake with some chairs. The yard has a huge grass area for the dogs to run around, and its very nice that its separated from the water so after you've cleaned and dried the dogs off for the day, its easy to keep them away from the water and dry for the rest of the night. We have rented many similar places on lakes over the years, and this by far was the best! We have never liked a place enough to return and have continued looking for that great place, and we finally found it at Barbs beautiful house on the lake in Vermont! See you next year!
