Great location and staff. Nice room The wifi didn't work and had to spend time with support to get it going. Also the music at the pool started up around 5:00 AM which was not great. We arrived before check in so I didn't expect the room to be ready. They said they'd call when it was ready - but forgot to, so we just came back at 4:00.

Our Urban Destination Fee includes the use of our fitness center, beverage pantries, local small business discounts, local attraction discounts, sports equipment rental, outdoor lifestyle spaces, and more. This should have been explained at the front desk and we will address this with their team to ensure that this is part of the check in process. While our Original Skiff restaurant is under construction, our Lily May's Cafe is open and serving dinner until we open the signature restaurant downstairs this summer. We really hoped you'd love us - I'm so saddened to hear that we fell short. Please know that we do try to consistently deliver a superior guest experience. Should you ever find yourself back in town, please give us a chance to show you that our product and service can live up to your expectations.

I paid for 3 rooms through Expedia and when I arrived, the hotel bar, hotel restaurant and firepit area were all closed due to renovations and I was never informed of this being a possibility during our stay. I paid a great deal of money for these rooms and feel I should be reimbursed because we all had to leave the hotel to eat and to watch the March Madness Basketball Games. I will not be booking any future trips through Expedia as I feel you were unaware of the issues and I never would have booked this hotel if I was aware of all the renovations. My children's families all stayed with small children and it was extremely inconvenient!

So the service was great and they tried really hard. The room itself was not great. There was a bump probably covering pipes or something right behind the door, so it was tough making sure not to slam the door into that. They had a CO2 leak in our room and thankfully, we were already on our way back to get our dog, so he was okay. To the hotels credit, about 20 mins after we got our dog out, I got a text and missed call about the situation telling me to get my dog immediately. After that, whoever repaired the issue left the grate off the wall and left the AC switch off, so we just baked in the room until we figured it out. We called the front desk about it and they said they would send someone over immediately, but no one ever came. The hotel compensated us with a breakfast (we didn’t end up using the voucher). To their credit, they did ask if we wanted to change our room, but this was early evening of the night before we checked out, so we declined the offer. Finally, as we left, they overcharged us on the pet fee. Granted, I only had to call once and they very quickly issued a refund. Overall, very mid experience and while I’d like to try Burlington again, it won’t be at this hotel.

Generally the Hilton in Burlington is great. But the main dining room was closed for renovations (which we weren't aware of til we arrived), and the hotel's cafe was sorely lacking. On our first day we arrived at around 8 pm and were hopeful as there was an entree of salmon, mashed potatoes and spinach salad on the menu. But it was precooked, tasted pretty bad and was high priced. The only decent breakfast food was instant oatmeal.

Your professionalism and attention to detail were truly commendable. The cleanliness and tranquility of the premises contributed significantly to the overall quality of my experience. I particularly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere that allowed me to relax and unwind effectively. While my stay was nearly flawless, I did notice that the hotel bar was undergoing renovations. This was a very nice hotel right on the lakefront. We loved the complimentary snacks and beer at the welcome reception. That was fun! The restaurant is being re-done so the dining options were not ideal and there was a cafe that we were not sure was yet open or not. The pool and hot tub were super nice and the room was very comfortable and clean. My biggest complaint was the t.v. We were looking forward to watching a movie for the one night we were there on Netflix. Turns out our t.v. was not set up with wifi and upon asking the front desk we were told they were working replacing all the t.v.s and didn't get to our yet. So we thought we'd watch regular t.v. The guide was not working and the t.v. was extremely glitchy. Hard to watch anything when every minute or so, it froze up. So that was a bummer for our plans. The other complain was banging and loud vibrations from people working outside at 7 a.m. near our room's window. Too early for that! I'd stay here again and hope for a room with an upgraded t.v. and maybe stay on an upper floor to avoid construction noise.

I am responding to your review of your recent stay at the Hilton Lake Champlain Burlington. I'm sorry that your stay was not enjoyable for you. To explain the charges to your credit card: You were charged 200 for the incidentals (100/night) which is charged to all guests. If nothing was charged to the room, that fee would be returned to you at check out (it would actually be removed from your bill as it was just a hold and not a charge). The 93 and change charge was for parking (16/night) and the mandatory Urban Destination Fee (32/night) which includes the 10/day food and beverage credit, high speed WiFi, and other amenities at the hotel.

The gym was absolutely amazing! I brought my kids and we worked out for an hour. They had the long heavy ropes, 11 cardio machines, a deadlift/bench/squat machine, monkey bars, punching bag, adjustable weighted pull downs, kettle bells, dumbbells up to 70 lbs, medicine balls, step up platform, rope climbers, various bars and plates, and a trampoline - WOW!

The place is under construction. The "bar" is a makeshift conference room. It was very bright, and there were plastic tarps around the ceiling area. Otherwise, it was fine, but visually, it looked terrible. It would have been nice to know before I booked.

Find somewhere else to stay. I had a city view room directly, or the city view, apparently means looking straight onto a multistoried car park. People coming and going out of the car park could see straight into my room. If the room is not Lake facing, then it simply feels like an ordinary room in an ordinary hotel, and therefore $400/price charged is an extortionate price to pay. There is also mandatory facilities fee which is completely unreasonable, especially in deep winter where including a bike rental in that fee is useless as your can’t go cycling in deep snow. Not worth the money.

We certainly recommend booking a Lakeview room for the best views in Burlington. Our Resort Fee not only includes outdoor amenities, but also our state of the art fitness center, indoor pool/whirlpool, 24/7 beverage pantries on each of our guest floors, premium wif-fi and concierge services. It is truly our hope that you give our hotel a second chance on a future visit to Burlington.
