I really don't like to write a negative review but here it is. I bought a night of stay for my son' and his wife for my son's birthday. Lang House had decent reviews and the location was convenient so I booked a room here. Perhaps they were short staffed for the summer but the bed sheets smelled like mildew, the showers were not clean and the breakfast was almost all gone even though they had scheduled it for a certain time. It's very disappointing because I booked a room here after reading the good reviews.

Lang House is conveniently located between downtown Burlington and the University of Vermont. Parking is available on the property and we were able to walk everywhere. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The help was extremely friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. My husband has celiac disease and they had gluten free bread, gluten free blueberry muffins, and wheat free cookies. Everyone and everything was absolutely lovely.
