The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately that’s really the only pleasant thing about this place. The room was very outdated and smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a non- smoking room. There was a big box TV which I haven’t seen in a hotel in quite some time. The deadbolt didn’t work on the door. The bathroom was very small and cramped and there was no shampoo provided. The bed was pretty comfortable though. When searching for a place to stay online the information I was provided said this place had a hot tub, but that is false. The breakfast that was provided was incredibly disappointing. There was dry cereal in dusty, dirty containers, but no milk available because the staff forgot to get some. The fruit was old and squishy and while there was a waffle machine there was no batter for it. It worked for a place to sleep, but I should have spent the extra 5 bucks to go somewhere else.
The area was run down. The room was small and smelled and was not clean. There was no one to check us in. I had to find him in the laundry room. The breakfast area was one table four chairs and a bag of powdered donuts.

Location is so good, i like the location of the hotel, its so quiet there
Nice old motel. Not shiny, but clean. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is clean. Can't beat that price, and it's better than done brand name places.
We killed about 10 flies in our room when we checked in at 11 pm. Although room was semi clean, I saw mold in the shower, the carpet was so dirty looking I wore shoes in the room the whole time. Bed was clean and comfortable. I definitely wouldn't stay here again. Their motto is "don't sleep in your van". I say, you're better off sleeping in your van.
The first room I looked at smelled like pot. The second room smelled but not like dope at least. Still not clean. It's an old motel which is fine with me as long as it's clean. Won't stay there again.

You get what you pay for
The staff is really nice, the check in is really simple. The room is aged and very standard. I’ve stayed here more than once, mostly Bc I was short on money.
room had been smoked in previously, burns on bedspread, carpet worn and dirty, spiderwebs & dead bugs in bathroom, mold or mildew on tile behind toilet. terribly cheap, but not in a good way.
Put a wall right across from air conditioner so as long as it cold enough in the hallway right across from bathroom it would cut off. The rest of the room was hot. He would not change rooms so we left and was not reimbursed
Was not expecting a five star resort. The room was nothing like what was shown on the website. Rooms need updating. Sheets and towels were clean but everything else was suspect. It was a very hot day and despite our reservation the air conditioning was not on. It took half the night to cool down.

Need a minimal, inexpensive place to sleep and then move on promptly? This would be it.
While checking, I was asked to sho my papers for a service dog. It is a law that I do not have to so I do not carry this with me. I had to pay for a pet fee even tho My dog is a working dog. Room was dirty. Old beer caps under the bed. We had to slush the toilet with the bucket!! When I called to frontdesk they did that it is normal and it should work! Terrible expiernce.

Very Reasonable
If you're looking for a place to spend the night that's very affordable, friendly service, this is the place. You can tell they have been fixing it up and aren't quite finished, but the room was very clean. It suited my needs perfectly.
While traveling from CO to KC, I found myself in really icy conditions that caused me to spin off the highway twice, both times into ditches and thankfully avoiding other cars. Burlington was my next exit. I had planned on driving straight through and hadn't budgeted for a hotel so I had to go with the least expensive option. It was only $40 for the night, I guess you get what you pay for! I was told that it was a non-smoking room but it reeked... was told there were hygiene items but there was only a tiny tube of shampoo and sliver of soap, but it ended up being a non-issue because the shower was unusable. Visible dirt in the shower and toilet, stained patched floors, only partial coverings on the bathroom windows. Wall patches that weren't painted, carpet only partially vacuumed, dirthy, dusty tray and shelves. The man on staff wasn't rude, nor was he friendly or helpful. I didn't bother staying for the waffle and coffee in the morning. The sheets and towels were clean, the room was warm, and the lock worked. Overall, while grateful to be safe from the weather, I wish I'd spent a little more at a different place.
