Have stayed here 3 or 4 times and find it very pleasant, comfortable, convenient and affordable. Some noise on the port-facing side from trucks and machines working through the night on the dock. Better to stay on the town facing side.

Perfectly adequate as a base

Great location in Burnie. Lovely licensed bistro and Maccas easy for brekkie. Good parking. Hotel has been somewhat renovated with double glazing so the Port noise is hardly discernible. Corridor doors need work as there were some very noisy port workers coming in late. On site laundry was a bonus. Staff lovely.

Property is very basic. Bathroom was very dated and even though it had been cleaned, still looked dirty due to age and discouloration. Staff were friendly. Restaurants food was not too bad.

Pretty average

Very basic hotel. A little out of the centre of town if you prefer to be closer. Check in was fine. Room was clean for the most part other than a lot of hair left in the shower. Main issue was the double bed. You could feel every spring so I shifted to the single in the room (which was marginally better)
