"Staying in this old but beautifully updated and restored home on a nice quiet residential street was a nice break from the hotel scene. Really loved it. "

"This house is fantastic! It was well stocked with everything you need in a kitchen. The rooms were incredibly comfortable. The host was responsive as well. Great location with a supermarket and lots of restaurants nearby. "
"Such a cozy, well-appointed place! The perfect size and location for what we needed. No need for a car—we were walking distance from downtown Raleigh, and a quick scooter/bike ride from the bus station to get to Durham. Strolling the historic Oakwood neighborhood in the morning was lovely. Definitely check out the brunch at Longleaf Swine right on the corner—it blew us away. We couldn’t wait to get back to The Acorn at the end of a long day. And as coffee people, we especially appreciated the Aeropress in the kitchen, which allowed us to brew some of the beans we picked up at Jubala (which was an incredible local roaster and coffee shop). Would definitely book again the next time we are in the area."
